  • The thing I love about street tacos in California, AZ, NM, TX, FL, NY, etc, besides the amazing taste, is the fact they they put as much steak in 1 taco as Chipotle gives you for their entire bowl or burrito.

My wife just lost her job. I made her this recipe and she knew everything would be okay! Thank you!

I wish we could all just eat and get along, just live your life and enjoy until heaven calls you home . Simple
  • The secret is out... Arnie finally 'spilled the beans'! 🤣🤣🤣
  • Arnie, I made the tacos. They were amazing!!! I got a chuck roast and cut it into very small pieces. Added avocado oil, salt, pepper and a little onion powder. Cooked some onions and bell pepper in a cast iron skillet. Set them aside and then cooked the meat (little at a time) on the skillet. NO potato but I did make charro beans and Rice. Delicious!!❤❤

I'm from San Antonio, met my husband there and when i moved north with him, missed all the mexican eateries, that was 50 yrs ago. Things have changed since then but i love watching you and your wife. God bless you

I love your channel! I’m a white boy from Missouri, but spent 13 years in Texas eating some of the best authentic Mexican and Tex Mex foods I’ve ever had. I miss the food and the culture, your channel brings me joy and gives me great ideas for dinner at home. You are an amazing cook and person!

Just found your videos and absolutely love them! I'm from San Antonio and my wife is from Pharr (RGV) and we go down there fairly often to visit family. I love my SA tacos, but man you can't beat the valley tacos. Thin sliced bistec cooked a la plancha con cilantro, cebolla, aguacate, y queso fresco... and always served with a side of charro beans! Can't get better than that! Thank you for sharing your knowledge; you can really feel the love and passion you have!

616K subs? Ya gotta be kidding me!! As a South Texan I know he makes the real deal!! Arnie should be at a million subs by now!!
  • After moving away from The Valley, I crave this style of taco every single day. Thank you for sharing an authentic recipe that cures the homesickness.
  • Love these videos, awesome that you show the bloopers ( spilling the beans lol) because when cooking at home things like that happen. It’s not always perfect… thank you
  • @Bathygnostic
Really 'spilled the beans' on how to make amazing Street Tacos, Thank You!!
  • @Mikepwns112
You can hear that south texas in the whistle when you talk, love that. Love your content, have made your recipes a few time. Absolutely excellent.
  • I loved trying different places around Brownsville, McAllen & Mission. Heck, even Matamoros and Reynosa. Now I need to backtrack and watch the beans video again!
  • I was born in Tijuana MX. Several cousins still live there and some in Jalisco MX. One of my brother lives in Ensenada. When I lived in SoCal we were always over there and yes, the taquerias were a necessity. Ensenada has one fish taqueria that made Time Magazine. You did an awesome job at showing some excellent taqueria style tacos. Worthy of Super Bowl Sunday so it can be made every weekend! Thanks for sharing.
  • @blakert-
I have family down in the valley and this recipe is spot on to the local taquerias.
  • @Guatdefook
Love your videos. Your translations of meat cuts from Spanish to English have made me understand the differences I could never bothered asking as a kid.
