As a historian, the Cleopatra miniseries really hurt my heart. They could've made it into something great. Do people really believe Egyptians were black? We have the dna from their mummies. They were not black. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Theres so many amazing ancient Black civilizations such as the Nubians. They lived south of Egypt and often traded with them. Then theres the extraordinary wealthy Songhai empire of the west. Why are they so focused on changing history?? Maybe 20 years ago we didnt know the race of Cleopatra, but we know now. Why continue to lie about it?

Ray Stevenson is an absolute legend. Props for mentioning his role in Rome which is one of the all time greatest roles and his brotherhood with Lucius vorenus on screen may not ever get topped in my opinion.

Voting for the Worst of Woke Awards for last year was one of the most difficult things I've ever done. In almost every category, it was impossible to choose which turd was the worst. I tip my hat to the despot in accomplishing such a gargantuan task.
