Let's be real we want palworld to do good so pokemon actually works on their homework to stay relevant

Honestly I'm loving how Pal World managed to piss off not only Pokemon fanboys but PlayStation fanboys, AAA developers, and once again expose idiotic gaming journalism.

Considering the fact that Nintendo is charging 100 plus dollars for a semi decent Pokemon experience, I am really glad a game like Palworld exists.

Imagine thinking Nintendo somehow owns the concept of a creature collector game, and that this is somehow a good thing.

This drama's gotten so out of hand that it brought DistantKingdom back from the dead.

I dont know why people are making such a big fuss about it. Its not like the existence of this game is gonna actually hurt the pokemon brand or anything. They'll still make dog shit games and the fans will still throw their money at them because they don't have any standards at all. Nothing will change lmao

This just has me convinced that Pokémon Twitter is full of literal blank brainlets.

Volpix is based on a kitsune or fire fox a creature from Japanese mythology. Nintendo doesn't own that yet here we are .

I hope they keep malding frankly, palworld has been hitting an itch I've been having as well as the salt making it far more enjoyable.

I found funny how people seriously think Palword is gonna be sued by Nintendo while being completely aware of how suing works.

Like... literally this game fulfilled everything it promised and Twitter just has a meltdown for literally no reason.

Maybe they just cant accept the fact that Palworld isnt an overpriced buggy mess like Scarlet and Violette are.

Remember back when pokemon fanboys were telling us if we didn't like moden pokemon games to just stop playing them?

I guess they meant that more intensively than we thought, they want us to play pokemon or nothing, don't even try enjoying what you said you wanted because if it's not pokemon it's plagiarism.

Funny how Palworld game devs:
1) went through the AI requirements from Steam
2) is developed by people in Japan so they clearly got through their “copyright” laws

One of the big things in Japan is that fair use laws do not exist which is why nintendo is so copyright happy. And both companies are in Japan. However, Nothing has happened so far so I think Palworld is safe. However you cannot use the free use clause in Japan cause it doesnt exist. Also, there is inspiration which is fine overall otherwise SMT or Dragon quest would have sued pokemon back in 1998.

I haven’t played Palworld at all and that’s why I can’t say much about Palworld.
The designs of course are inspired.
With how many Pokémon there are it’s obvious there is overlap.
Many Pokémon themselves are based on animals, monsters, Yo Kai.
Like how Dunsparce and Noko are based on the same Yo Kai.
I know it’s not a Pal World example, but still both are very similar, since it’s the same source material essentially where you can’t change much about it.
Also one thing which I noticed when making a few Pokémon myself a few years ago is that some of my own have slight resemblance to existing Pokémon. Of course it was only unintentional, but when you make something of your own then you combine ideas of your head. And if Pal World truly would have stolen it then Nintendo would have torn them asunder already and did more in a short time.
We know know how they protect their IP.
