They actually fixed Flying Pokemon idle animations. Never stop voicing criticism.
  • @elcambiollego
At Gamefreak HQ: Wouldn´t it be awesome if you could challange the battle tower with the friends that joined the game? Executive: What battle tower?
  • It's so great that all the Flying types have land animations, undoing the travesty of permanent flying animation that Sky Battles caused all the way back in X&Y

Why this channel is the best. Doesn't blindly consume anything GF creates and have horrible justifications for bad games " be greatful". As well as praising the games when they deserve praising and isn't just hating for the sake of hating. A real reviewer which is so rare these days
  • @BenVaBo
Between this and Legends Arceus. The perfect Pokémon game is hiding. I'm very hopeful for Pokémon's future.
  • I didn't think it was possible to have less post game than usual. But GameFreak never fails to surprise.
  • @Mldy96
I really don't understand why they remove optional settings like that... Nobody would complain if they simply made Exp. Share and Switch Style the default but let us turn them off. Otherwise, I'm curious what they have in store in terms of DLC - I could easily see them make a few more of /those/ Pokémon (IYKYK). Guess we'll get more news about DLC around the time Home gets updated?
  • I’m glad you posted an early review. I don’t have issues with critics normally but Pokemon reviews never end up lining with what I enjoy. This sounds like a good Pokemon game hidden under a technical mess caused by a rushed schedule. Hoping mods/patches fix it but this sounds fun.
  • @nazimelon6653
considering all the criticisms ive read so far, i really didnt expect YOU of all people to be generally positive about S/V. like, this is nice. refreshing to hear good things about them for once.
  • @randomer8119
Literally the only channel I trust with a Pokémon review
  • I do not understand the removal of the Set option. That made it more apparent that they tailored the games towards people with little RPG experience. With that said, I'm glad to hear the game is at least pretty good. I'm still a little soured on Pokemon these days, but hey, you never know. I MIGHT have a look at them one day.
  • @sheridan5175
I expected to not have exp share toggle, but having battle style permanently set to switch is going to be a pain in the ass, since I don't think I can mod my switch
  • @thunderhog45
It's very disappointing in some ways. I'll still probably get it, but no set battle mode? No option to turn off exp share? They brought back affection... No difficulty settings either? These changes could be implemented so incredibly easily, yet we keep taking steps back every game for people who want even a slight challenge🙃
  • @Tribow
Not getting the game but happy to hear about these improvements. Removing Set play though? What? Why? C'mon now Gamefreak.
  • @waddledee4993
-Forced shift battle style -NO battle tower -Framerate issues and buggy cameras -(Still) Forced exp share Wtf, really wanted to get this game, but now I’m really on the fence.
  • I was expecting your opinion on this one, and I did anticipate a positive but objective reception. The only bad thing is that I'll miss your High Quality animations videos haha. Great video!
  • From what I've seen it's somewhat what I expected. Expands a lot on the concepts experimented on in the past few games but is ultimately noticeably held back by a lack of technical polish due to the brutal pokemon release timeline and stubbornness to expand the team to a level which a franchise of this popularity and release schedule should honestly have
  • @CHEFPKR
I think game freak needs to realize the 30+ year Olds like me, but ho grew up with Gen 1, would very much like a simple hard mode in game.
  • @CritsVG
Not getting it, mainly because of multiple visual issues I've seen so far, as long as those aren't solved. Things like characters clipping in and out of existance, object pop in, shadows disappearing at random and the camera issues really look like they would ruin the immersion for me and that's what I'm looking for the most in a game. Also find it hard to go back to these stiff battle animations.
  • As someone that's not particularly fond of open world games myself, it's neat to hear you disclaimer on that regard. Aside from that though, just about everything I hear about these games makes them sound like they did a great job on the more fluffy charm aspect, but are going to have a lot of mechanical/gameplay elements that're going to be frustrating in one way or another.
