How to Make a Simple Quilted Strippy Bag: Sew Along Part One!

Jeanette is using up more of her scraps with this simple quilted bag! Join us for part one of this two-parter sew-along tutorial. Each stripe measures 10inches by 2.5inches and this would be the perfect project for jellyroll strips, or leftover layer cake scraps. Make sure you subscribe for Part Two - coming soon!

Fabric requirements for the bag:
(18) 2 1/2 x 10 inch strips
(4) 3 1/2 x 18 1/2 inch pieces (Top and Bottom panels)
(14) 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch strips (Handle outer)
(2) 2 1/2 x 28 1/2 strips (Handle linings)
1/2 metre Bag Lining fabric
1/2 metre Fusible Fleece or Wadding

    That top feed bobbin is super! I bought my Babylock just because of the top feed bobbin!!! It’s nice to see other manufacturers are doing this, too! Sure does make life easier! Wish all my other machines had this😮

    I agree. I had a Singer machine with a lower bobbin for quite a number of years and now I have a Brother with a top bobbin, where you can easily check if the bobbin thread is running out.
