In 2014, the Milwaukee Bucks were rated as the least valuable franchise in the NBA. However just 10 years later, they are among the 10 most valuable teams in the league with a packed arena each night.
The difference: Giannis Antetokounmpo...
Giannis has remained loyal to the city and franchise that gave him a chance, and it all paid off with him delivering at the highest level. Cementing his legacy not only in the NBA, but also in the city of Milwaukee as a hero.

Just heard the unfortunate news of Herb Kohl’s passing. Rest in peace to the Bucks legend that made this entire story possible with his key contribution to the new arena. Milwaukee will never forget you, rest in peace Herb Kohl.

Dude this was like a movie. I’m speechless. Giannis is my favorite player and it was awesome for getting to relive this moment.
-
I’m in actual tears. The storytelling, the music, everything worked so well to pull all the right heart strings and release the waterworks
-
Kings fan here but Giannis is by far and away my favorite player due to stories like his. Nobody embodies Mamba Mentality, family values, and loyalty like he does.
-
tears in my eyes man, what a masterpiece, Giannis my fav sports player ever, real idol for the future generations. I'm so glad he's playing for the team I love and I'm witnessing greatness every week watching him

I love it when players are loyal to the teams they were originally drafted by. That's a true MVP. A player that carries his team with passion from the bottom all the way to the top without making excuses.
-
Crazy this video was uploaded on the day Herb Kohl passed away. He was critical in keeping the team in Milwaukee and for him to watch the Bucks finally get a ring in milwaukee in 2021 must have been so special. RIP legend and thank you.

Jokic is by far my favourite player, but this made me appreciate Giannis so much more. Moved from overseas, to a different culture and language, he stayed in the city and team that gave him a chance, and lead the team to championship. What a story.

amazing video, well done!
-
Most memorable thing about Giannis's rise for me was how confident and vocal Milwaukee fans were that they found themselves a superstar years before he actually became one lol
-
Watching Giannis 1st MVP acceptance speech always makes me teary eyed
-
They call him fake humble and no skill on twitter, but nobody defines loyalty more imo. The state of Wisconsin invested in him and he invested back... this video encapsulated this relationship more than anyone else I have ever seen.
-
40:12 Mike Breen's "They're starting to celebrate here in Milwaukee...It's over the Bucks have done it" Man that shit moved me to tears. Amazing video. I hope the Bucks can him a couple more in the upcoming years and we look back at this video as the start of something even more special. Bucks in 6.

the only athlete I ever idolized after Kobe ... not only because my father came from nigeria to europe like he did ... Giannis always seems like such a wholesome person , so genuine and a good role model through and through
-
"I want to be an NBA player" ... not champion, not superstar, just an NBA player! This kid is so humble and grateful! I'm so proud for Giannis
-
You know you've made it when nobody stumbles over your last name anymore😂😂
-
I actually cried in his MVP Speech.
-
15:15…. The steal, the game winner, the block 😭🔥

His story is why he will always be my favourite player, just an incredible person and player. Giannis looking up at the banners next to his parents is straight out of a movie, just amazing. Whenever Giannis points to the sky it’s for his father that passed. The moment where Giannis sits down after winning a championship will always make me emotional.

This video makes me proud as a NBA fan who hasn't watched the NBA (or even played any NBA video games) since Jordan's championship years, until Giannis and the Bucks defied expectations in the 2021 Playoffs. I believed in them when few or nobody did. Giannis not only saved an NBA franchise, he also saved me as an NBA fan who has been "dead" from 1998 to 2021.
