A strong believer is not only about strong faith, but also about building knowledge, materialistically resourceful, mentally resilient, emotionally intelligent, understands and can differentiate between different relationships and most of all, knows themselves, their strengths, weaknesses and does not stop building themselves.

A Muslim’s outlook on life is deep in meaning and purpose beyond the modern person’s scope. In this valuable and informative lecture, you will learn some fundamental concepts and elements of what makes a person have a strong personality, character and keep rising with success in this life and the next, from the Islamic approach, inshaAllah.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 16:13 💪 Build yourself physically, mentally, and in knowledge. Your body, mind, and life are trusts from Allah. 23:32 🙌 Rely on Allah while actively working in the natural world; do not rely solely on supernatural signs or dreams. 27:21 🚀 Plan, seek advice, and manage yourself, but don't become paralyzed by fear; keep going. If things don't go as planned, avoid obsessively saying "if" and accept Allah's decree. 28:15 🧭 Knowing that outcomes are Allah's will, whether it's your fault or not, is essential for strong character. 28:43 📚 Embrace learning from your mistakes, as it is a good perspective for believers. 31:18 🤝 Loving yourself means building and improving yourself, not indulging in superficial desires. 32:02 🙌 Humility involves presenting yourself as slightly less than your reality. 33:12 🚀 Know your strengths and weaknesses and work within your capacity. 34:36 💪 Self-esteem is about recognizing your worth as a creation of Allah, not basing it on materialistic criteria. 35:22 🌟 Confidence requires believing in your abilities while remaining humble. 39:55 🔄 Prioritize, manage your time, and handle interactions wisely for self-management. 49:26 📝 Be open to constructive criticism, learn from your mistakes, and own them. 52:18 🤐 Leave what does not concern you and avoid prying into others' business for a healthier and more peaceful life. 53:29 🚫 Avoid jealousy, envy, and unhealthy competition as they can destroy your well-being and happiness. 54:08 🥦 Your diet, exercise, and sleep are essential for your energy, mood, and health. Follow the Sunnah for guidance in these areas. 56:03 🛏️ Monitor your sleep, sleep early, and consider daytime siestas (Qailulah) to take care of your body. 56:46 🤝 Healthy relationships involve respecting rights, boundaries, and mutual understanding. Avoid toxic relationships with unreasonable expectations. 57:00 ⚖️ Lively relationships are characterized by justice, kindness, mercy, giving, and forgiveness. 59:09 🙅‍♂️ Dead relationships are marked by indifference and should be ended if there's no mutual care and involvement. 01:00:59 😃 Smiling and encouraging others is a sign of strong character, and it can positively impact people around you.
  • I grew up within a Christian family. My first time joining in Islamic prayer was five years ago; having no understanding of Islam, my friend asked me to join in prayer. It was a cloudy day and as we prayed and he recited words from the Quran, the clouds parted and the sun shine on us. Only for during our prayer did the sun shine. I have never forgotten that moment, and this year, I am fervently studying Islam. It is so beautiful in all of the truths. Thank you for helping me form a deeper understanding. Some words you speak bring tears to my eyes.

Around year 2013, when I was new to Islam, and was faced with sadness,I bumped into a nice video named "dont be sad". It was a collection of talks by different speakers but not the actual video of those speakers, other video incorporated into it. Every speaker content was good and meaningful. But one of voice seems more outstanding than others to me, it seems a warm and caring voice... Some years later I bumped into another video and this time I found the person whose voice once touched a wearing soul...Allahu alimul hakim.

I have been listening to MUFTI MENK for about 7 year's now. I am learning much through the messages he brings. I have listen to about 5 of your messages truly I enjoy them as well. I have began also to listen to the Muslim women Teach. They are very precious as well. I am a Christian for many year's. Yet I enjoy listening the teaching that you bring.
  • I recently discovered this Ustad. He's authentic, charismatic, and true to the calling of Islam and guiding the Muslim masses to his best ability without the farce of the modern YouTube Da'wah Scene. May Allah preserve him, and may he continue on this path.

Assalamualaikum Brothers and Sisters. I started listening to Islamic videos when I walk and reading Quran between sets when I lift weights. That way, like Brother Belal said, I'm benefiting in this life and the next at the same time while also being more efficient, effectively saving time. Try it some time and maybe you will enjoy it like I do. Alhamdulillah. Allahu Akbar.
