Thank you for providing an easy-to-understand tutorial with great examples. Like other commentors here I've looked at other sources to learn basic PS and this was by far the easiest to understand.

I'm not a admin. I don't even work in IT. I just wanted to learn Powershell. I watched 30 mins each of 2 other video tutorials that claimed to be tutorials but were basically guys showing off how good they were in Powershell. I spent an hour and 3 commands were shown and not really explained. But this video here....15 mins in and I have learned enough to continue learning on my own if I had to and there is still like 15 more mins of video. This video paints a very clear picture. And I am having fun now rather than looking at "PS C:\> " and always having to copy paste something there I got from the internet. No more. I will learn this. This made it easy. Somebody get him a fruit basket...NOW!!...No?? I'm sorry bro....I couldn't get you a fruit basket. You totally deserve one though. In a nice basket. The basket matters. I liked the video though. Theres that at least. Thanks for posting this. Schooling mofo's since 2016

If only I had found this before I wasted money on a udemy course. Learned more in the first ten minutes than I did with paid content. Well done!
  • @dogcmp6
My company pays for CBT nuggets, I spent 2 hours on their intro to powershell course the other day, you taught me more in 20 minutes than I learned in those 2 hours...great job!

First time trying to learn Powershell and your video was the perfect beginners guide. You've really explained things in the simplest form that's non intimidating to a beginner that finds Powershell overwhelming. Thank you for posting.

Most of the powershell videos on YouTube right now are just people explaining for an hour how great powershell is. This video, however, actually taught me something
  • @Lyricalxs
As a System Admin,....this is one of the few things that I havent become proficient at. You've made it extremely easy for me. Thanks.

Shane , Hopefully you read this . I've never thought i could find a teacher on Youtube like Corey who explains everything as simple meanwhile comprehensive as possible. I've watched couple other videos about shell and command line but you are the best . I just felt to write here and say "Thank you " . God bless you

Thanks for the lesson. complete newbie here trying to learn PowerShell, was given a task to build a script to start and stop multiple services on remote machines, to pull from a list...hoping your lessons will give me a good place to learn as I'm about as green as a young shoot in grove amongst a aged forest. Thanks again!

This is quite possibly the best web tutorial I've ever used. Hits at a perfect level for a PowerShell newbie, and gives all the top level tools you need to get started. I'd give it ten thumbs up if I could.
