I was just perusing the various videos on this site and yours caught my attention. I'm NOT a wheelchair user but I learned so much on what extra work is needed for wheelchair users. I will be much more aware and empathetic when I travel since I really travel with 'tunnel' vision and need to be more aware and patient with the handicappable community. :-)

how the hell do you only have 20k? i was watching and assumed you had at least 1M. good content man, you're inspiring

Would love to see an extended video on choosing a chair. I need advice
  • @mkptrsn
I don’t use a wheelchair but still think the 3-wheeled bike from Bowhead would be awesome to have. Great for people with equilibrium problems too.
  • I wish wheelchair and other aid related things were affordable. I love my wheelchair- I have an off-road all terrain chair I love it out of everything I own it’s literally my favourite...but I really wish I could afford to make it more useable for me like I’d get E-motions if I could afford anything id pretty much just ask for them and a few adjustments to my foot rest and that would be about it.
  • Me: Is a fully mobile human being. Youtube: "Okay but look at these awesome wheelchairs."

I don't even have a disability or anything like that and I still absolutely love your content man it's super inspiring please keep it up
  • @grandam.
I wonder how much handicap parking there was at this event. . .
  • The SmartDrive was life changing for me. It makes pushing long distances much easier and less straining on my shoulders. Hills and long inclines are no longer a struggle.

I used to build and deliver wheelchairs and other medical equipment and it was largely the best job I've ever had. I met all kinds of great people and our equipment was good, but I could always see that improvements could be made in most cases. Fast forward 14 yrs and I see that some amazing innovations have happened. It was an outstanding experience to watch this video. Thank you so much!
  • I literally just got home from picking up my very first custom wheelchair when I saw this video. I would love to see a full video about picking a chair, options, accessories, etc. For most of the process I’ve felt like I had to do all of my own research to make any progress, and knowing the technical differences between two different options doesn’t mean I understand how those differences will play out in real life. And even if one option is a little better, is it better enough to justify the difference in cost/weight/whatever? I’m fine making tradeoffs to find the best tools for me and my lifestyle, but I have to know what those tradeoffs actually are first. Getting my first custom wheelchair has been really intimidating because there was so much to it and once the order form was sent out all I could do was hope everything was close enough. Unrelated, but thanks for making a point of asking about catheters for women. I don’t need them myself, but it’s really easy to overlook options that don’t directly apply to you and I’m sure the information will be super helpful for someone else down the road. Now to look at new leashes for the dog...

This is really valuable for me as a nurse. Quite a few products I haven't seen before. Keep up the great content! You deserve way more subs!
  • Your videos are inspiring! I have MS and have been dreading the transition from walker to wheelchair... watching your videos have actually gotten me excited for the possibilities! I now believe that I will be in a better place! Meaning MORE places with a wheelchair than the struggle with my walker. Thank you! Keep up the fantastic work!!!
  • I found your channel less than 35 mins ago. I am now on my third video and definetly getting ready to binge watch the crap out of your channel. What you are doing is amazing and refreshing. 💪🏼🔥
  • I thought it was pretty cool to see another guy in a wheelchair selling wheelchair products, soft wheel, right on!
  • This is so cool. I live in Canada and Germany. I'm a Walker but have seen offroad chairs, its amazing. Mobility is so important. It makes me sad and angry when someone can't do what they love because of the price. Way to go, push your limits to the max! We live just once.
