Roads here are designed for a primary and a secundary reason. The primary reason is that it must be easy for chickens to cross the road. Cars are secondary
  • Always said the best burger I ever had was at a little roadside spot next to a post office 12 years ago in Anahola Kauai. Imagine my surprise with my favorite influencer is standing right in front of it. Way to go, Nick.
  • My dad was stationed in HI for 5 yrs. My sister and I were born there. It's a beautiful place -- but most tourists don't see or know about the many creepy crawlers that are there -- flying roaches, scorpions, etc. People ask us WHY did you leave Hawaii ??!!
  • 19:51 I am in tears 🤣😂 I love that you’re encouraging the snail to eat up that pringle LM
  • So Nick, I live on Maui. Been here from Georgia for 36 years. Anyway, I watch your shows here and there. Today you have me in stitches. I've been to Kauai. Totally wet place. Once I went to the big island and it literally rained 17 days in a row .I mean rain. Anyway I'm certainly enjoying your take on Kauai. And , yes, the chickens.

Lots of people say zuck has his bodyguards kick the locals off “his” beach like he’s a king. Treats them like rubbish. Lots of very unhappy locals.
  • I've never been to Hawaii, but have heard a lot of positive things about Kauai. This looks like an adventure!
  • I lived 35 years in Kauai Island 🏝 now in Patagonia, Chile 🇨🇱 just moved last year in 2023 in September. I know very well, becoming very crowded of the people and not so friendly people, In Patagonia, Chile people really friendly from the heart .Every month, more and more will be people coming from the mainland
  • I think everyone who is a local in a community that could be considered "God's country"- who struggles for conservation sake to preserve what all the tourists want to enjoy on weekends- has grown weary of the poor attitudes of the citiots and the disrespect of land and locals. We deal with 💩 people in Minnesota tourist towns, too. I have seen hundreds of thousands of people come for ice fishing and leave all their human waste out on the ice- which obviously becomes contamination of our crystal clear lake beaches. Weather you're visiting Minnesota or Hawaii, please be respectful of the locals who work hard to maintain the natural environment you love to visit. We have cameras everywhere too- please leave things a little nicer than you found it. 🥰

My fiend has a house on Kauai. It is rural living there. Natural beauty.
  • That song at the beginning was kinda catchy. Not gonna lie

I've been there twice. Such a beautiful and chill island. Way better than the other islands.

My favorite island. Been there many times. Beautiful scenery 👍

Zuckerberg's estate is on the NE corner of the island, not the SE. Bill Kreutzmann, now retired drummer for the Grateful Dead, also lives on that part of the island.

I've been to Kauai very nice place but it's haunted! due to the souls that was lost during a tsunami. I rented a Airbnb and we heard children playing outside and people talking around 3:15 in the morning...I looked out the window and nobody was there.. I talked to a local a few days later and they told me the story. Yes they do walk through the house but you have to be respectful and they will leave you alone.

That SONG!!! Oh, wow - I could listen to that forever! Soooo GOOD! Thanks for this GREAT VIDEO, Nick!
  • You can guess why certain homeowners in Kauai want to make some beach access difficult.
