30 Seconds to Impress

Believe it or not, a hiring decision may oftentimes be influenced by the interviewer's perceptions of the applicant during the opening moments of an interview. These first 30 seconds are a crucial opportunity for a job seeker to convey appropriate tact in their greeting, handshake, posture, speech, eye contact, and numerous other verbal and non-verbal language. The interviewer is a human, too, and although he/she is looking for a litany of skills and characterstics, he/she will also inevitably detect subtle subtext from an interviewee's individual and interpersonal presentation.

Yeah, and what if Anthony, by far, the most knowledgeable, basically a genius, and works in weekends just for the fun of it? Then you made a huge mistake because good acting is more important to you.
