  • What is YOUR favorite question to ask at the end of an interview?
  • @chantiom2201
I got the job! People! These questions work…especially the questions where the interviewers get to speak about themselves…the recruiter literally wouldn’t stop talking 😂🤣😂 I’m making the most money I’ve ever made! I came back to tell you thank you! Honey, I don’t know who/what u believe in but you are literally doing God’s work. 🙌🏾
  • I literally asked 3 questions, which led HR DIrector talk forever and I thought it was so good and we ended up chatting at the end and I felt I had built a great rapport with her that I was built some courage and asked her: "based on what we talked about today, is there anything causing you hestation on my fit for this role" They literally said NO I did great, I knew I got the job before they gave me the call back!! Thank you!!!

I had few interviews last week and this week with different companies. I asked them cultural, role-specific and hesitation questions but I still got rejected. But I will ask the questions you mentioned in the video. Nevertheless, I was looking for the questions in the comments, here's for anyone that's doing the same. Questions to ask the interviewers: (that's mentioned in the video) Cultural based: What is your favorite part about working here in this organization Do you love most about your job? What makes people stay with this organization? What are the biggest challenges or opportunities that this organization or department is facing in the next 6 months to a year How would you describe the work environment here? Role-specific: Can you tell me about a typical day or week looks like in this position? What do you want the person this in position to accomplish in their first 30,60 and 90 days ? What challenges or opportunities do you foresee this position taking on in the next 6 months ? How will my performance will be measured in this position? What are the next steps in the interview process? Hesitation: Based on what we talked about today is there anything that is causing you any hesitation about my fit for this position? How do I compare to other candidate that you interview for this role? Do you have any hesitations about my qualifications? Is there anything I can clarify for you? Have I answered all of the questions that you have for me ?

I Got The Job!!! I watched this video the night before my final interview. I did ask "is there anything that is causing you hesitation about my fit for this position?" during the interview and the Sr. Manager was so surprised that I requested instant feedback. They bascially acknowledged my skillset and wilingness to grow and confirmed that they had the confidence in my fit for the role. I received the offer few days later! Thanks you so much!!!

Thank you SO much for sharing these tips! I asked a HESITATION question during my interview and the hiring manager shared how brave and bold she thought it was to ask for feedback during an interview. It also kept me from doing what I have always done in the past after an interview, walking away wondering, "What did they think?" I left the interview knowing exactly what they thought AND I was able to craft my thank you message addressing the hesitations. It proved to be effective because I GOT THE JOB!!! Thank you!

I don't love the hesitation question at the end. As someone who's been the one interviewing before, we're told we can't give any indication one way or the other as to what we think about the candidate we're interviewing. This puts HR in a really bad mood if the candidate doesn't end up getting the job and were told they stood out in the inrterview process. As a person who's also been interviewed, I just accept that if a company doesn't want to hire me, it's their loss and I gave it my best shot. I no longer go into interviews feeling desperate for the job even if I am. If you're too eager, it's a turn off as well because we all know interviews don't always weed out bad employees/employers and can be pretentious. Smile, be professional, be truthful and transparent, and I have found that most interviewers appreciate not having to dance around to make a decision on whether they like you or not. Also keep in mind that YOU are also interviewing them. I don't hide the fact that I'm also looking to see if the employer is a good fit for me.

Binged your videos an hour before my interview and got really encouraged by the comments saying they got the job. I promised myself that once i got hired I would come back and thank you and I got the job a few days ago and just got my onboarding date!❤🎉 So thank you so much for these videos you’re truly a godsend ⭐️

I got the job!!! Omg!!! After 2 months I finally watched this video to see what was I doing wrong! I watched this before my interview yesterday and got the offer today!! Omg!!! You are gold for dropping these free gems! Thank you!!
  • Did an interview today. Supervisor spent 10 minutes telling me about their culture, what they do, and what's important to them...and then asked if I had any questions. That's the only thing she asked me. If I hadn't watched this video, I'd have been totally caught off guard. Luckily I did watch this and pre-planned my questions. Forty minutes of conversation later, I have the job. Thank you!
  • @christinem4235
it was 20 mins to interview, and because of nevous breakdown I did not prepare for the interview. I watched this video and guess what guys, I got the job!!!!!
  • Thank you for sharing this information. Not sure if anyone has listed these in the comments already. Culture: What's your favorite part about working here in this organization? What do you love most about your job? What makes people stay with this organization? What are the biggest challenges or opportunities that this organization or department is facing in the next months to a year? How would you describe the work environment here? Role-specific: Could you tell me what a typical day or week looks like in this position? What do you want the person in this position to accomplish in their first 30, 60 and 90 days? What challenges or opportunities do you foresee this position taking on in the next six months? How will my performance be measured in this position? What are the next steps in the interview process? Hesitation: Based on what we talked about today, is there anything that is causing you hesitation about my fit for this position? How do I compare to other candidates you've interviewed for this role? Do you have any hesitations about my qualifications? Is there anything I can clarify for you? Have I answered all of the questions that you have for me?
  • @sitibalkees3966
I got the job! Thank you so much. The interviewer decided to end my interview in just 15 minutes as I failed to answer one of the technical questions. When they asked if I had any questions, I asked the first question, "what do you love about your job?". They were surprised and said no one asked them this before. They excitedly answered my question and I tried to blend in and give my own opinions and voila!! The interview was dragged for 1 hour and I got the job!! So please ask these questions and always be energetic and motivated. I'm wishing the best of luck to everyone out there. ❤Thank you so much to you. You did a great job. May God bless you always.
  • This is definitely helpful. I remember many years ago when I was interviewing, I was about to leave after asking a few simple questions, but then I turned around and asked the man, "What do you NEED from your associate that the last person in this position didn't give you?" That stopped him dead in his tracks. I remember he looked shocked and then said no one had ever asked him a question like that before. He then taught me two things with his answer that I never forgot. 1) Most important are the three A's: Amiability, Availability, Ability. He said being a nice person to be around, and Actually Being There (not taking off all the time) was more crucial to him than the skill level. 2) He said, "I would rather you ask 100 questions up front than to wait and say you didn't understand the case or project." Be proactive and make sure you know what is expected of you up front (which is why this brilliant video just taught us!!! 🤗), rather than make excuses later.
  • @JaneyJJJ
I had an interview today and finished with the Big 3... I don't know how it went but the first interviewer seemed delighted for the opportunity to talk instead of take notes... Even asked the Have you any hesitation about my fit for the role or with the team... So bold (and unlike me)... Thanks I've never had an interview coach before... I felt nervous, of course, but when asked I said confident and prepared 😊 Update :I am thru to the security clearance... Thanks 🤞
  • @Nonebutyou
10+ year recruiter here: I would NOT ask anything mentioning hesitation. It’s an awkward set up and too negative. Instead, ask what they think my greatest challenge would be in this role. Then you can come back and let them know how you would overcome that and be successful. Cite examples from your past if you can. I don’t like the way the hesitation questions are poised.
  • @trizahakeyo9334
I just came back here to say, I asked the question on based on what we discussed, do you feel there's a reason why I might not be a right fit for the job. My interviewers were really surprised and I'm happy to say I got the job.
  • @joylogico9919
I love how you go straight to your points...unlike other HR youtubers that fill 75% of their videos with fluff. You go straight to the meat of the matter. Love it! So helpful! ❤
  • I watched your video 1 hour before my interview, and I aced that interview. My interviewer was impressed. I came back to say thank you, new subscriber, here.!
