What is your favorite battle pack?

Why does everyone hate officers? Who's gonna command your capital ships, huh?

Let me just say that the Bounty Hunter Battlepack, while not a great battlepack, is an amazing purchase for people who don't have all the Bounty Hunters. Which is the only reason I bought it in the first place.

Sometimes, you don't need an army, sometimes you just want a cool build to put on your desk because the build looks nice which explains why so many people wanted the Galactic Empire Battle Pack in S tier.

Okay I know I’m probably gonna sound insane for saying this but I like officers in my battle pack because I usually take the officers and put them in my ships or use them as an actual officer corp

This was kind annoying when you were constantly wondering "Why does Lego keep putting in stud shooters?" It's because these are mostly directed at kids and they are trying to include play features to make it more fun. I understand it's annoying for adults and collectors/army builders but they are targeted at kids.

I agree with this list besides the OG Imperial Battle Pack which I would put in S tier. Especially on the part with the 2017 Bounty Hunter Battle Pack since it's not a bad set with 4 out of 6 bounty hunters from ESB in fact it's great in my opinion but it is objectively a bad battle Pack for army building. Edit: I liked the editing too 👍

I definitely disagree with this guy on the Jawa battle pack, wether your building an army or not, but let’s me be honest, there would be no point in putting the the giant arm on the Jawa vehicle if it didn’t have something to hold, it also makes more sense to have a droid.

I love how every Duros is just automatically Cad Bane now😄

I like the Jawa/Tusken raider battle pack. It is a great addition to the Jawa Sandcrawler that came out around the same time because with a slight modification to the Sandcrawler you can load up that speeder. Also the astromech is a nice addition to the droids with the sandcrawler. Also the Bounty hunter battle pack is a great set because if you got the 40th Anniversary Slave 1 as well then you got all 6 of the ESB bounty hunters. RESULT!!!!!!. I am surprised you didn't include the 2 new minifig accessory packs in this review. I think the Rebel Hoth defence one is S/A level. You get 3 rebel troopers who have different heads, legs and torsos, plus the goggles so you can mix and match them making a great deal of variety for a rebel army as it should be. Also they come with these amazing tripod mounted heavy blasters which have blasters for legs. So all those other battle packs you bought with annoying stud shooters can now be replaced with blaster rifles RESULT!!!!!!!. The Clone command one is a B though. The inclusion of the Clone Commander is the problem. A jet pack trooper or maybe an NCO trooper would have been better. However the command module has some nice console pieces for a MOC and the blaster rifle rack gives you some more guns to replace stud shooters.

Never realised my family bought me so many of these battle packs over the years. MAN they were such good presents tho. Good value for money as a present too, considering it's a guaranteed win for under £20.

Bro Bounty Hunter battle pack is S tier. Everybody wants a 4-LOM army, so it’s perfect for that

You can move them around in the chart once u place them. Just plopping them down hinders the point of a tier list as well

The hoth rebel battle pack is a canon vehicle in episode 5, it’s obscure and weird but you can catch it for like 2 seconds in the background of a shot lol

That imperial dropship and the Rebel Scout speeder is extremely nostalgic for me

I get that this is your opinion but I think sets being docked for not being good for army building or not being cannon is kind of harsh. I buy battle packs because of cool figs, if I were to build an army maybe I only buy it once, but damaged storm troopers have great applications in diorama settings. Me personally I don’t care if it’s cannon as long as it’s cool looking but I get if you are trying to stick with an authentic army.
