Tebow held his own as a 29-30 year old who hadn't played in a decade. If he chose baseball in college he would've been legit

Better help is a scam, almost impossible to cancel, and they’re not trained professionals. Very disappointing you didn’t do due diligence
  • @Kevinmac1120
He did bat like .270 in AA ball..... that's impressive. Most people struggle to hit .270 in high school.... let alone college..... let alone AA ball
  • @CJM51392
I think what both Tebow and MJ did in minor league baseball was impressive. At the end of the day they were playing against guys who had spent their entire lives training to be baseball players.

I got to see Tim Tebow in spring training in 2020. I can say I saw Tebow and Miguel Cabrera each hit homers on the same day 😂
  • End of the day, Tim Tebow made solid contact against some of the best baseball players in the world. He hit AAA pitching, even if it wasn’t consistent. That is INCREDIBLE for a guy in his 30s who played an entirely different sport most of his life. In fact, making the change from football to baseball is generally way harder because physical skills only get you so far in baseball when you need timing. I don’t care if he didn’t make the show. He still did better than he had any right to.
  • Tebow actually held his own in AA (.734 OPS). Couldn't say the same for MJ (.556 OPS).

Tebow was an absolute monster at Florida. He is a top 5 college QB of all time. The fact that he tried baseball and actually hit a home run in pro baseball is an incredible feat tbh. Great video.

I see this dude at the golf course… what a house of a human! I don’t know how anyone talked him in the league.
  • I got to see him play when the Mets played the Charlotte Knights. He signed a ball for me after the game 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I've always been a Tim Tebow fan. I've worn his jerseys to work on NFL day only to hear snide comments from almost everyone. I feel like he wasn't given a chance to fail in the NFL... But simply cut because of his unorthodox style and footwork. I know his completion percentage was low, but he played big on the biggest games. I also hated to hear the amount of venom that people threw his way because he "Dared" to try and make a go at baseball. Like the very idea was offensive. He is a gentleman, A role model, A sincere Christian And someone who doesn't quit in the face of criticism. And I don't think I've ever heard anyone say a bad thing about him personally. Who among us can claim that?

Tim Tebow did not win 2 Heisman trophies, only one player has ever done that and that was Archie Griffin in 1974-75 at Ohio State.

I was lucky and got Tebow’s autograph at a baseball game, great experience

Kirk Gibson was NL MVP. and a 1st Team All-American WR at MSU, 21 YPC Career (#11 NCAA + #1 Big 10 all time) and at 6'3 225 every team clocked him under a 4.3 40 at his Pro Day. Only played 1 yr of NCAA baseball as leverage to negotiate his NFL contract after FB coach suggested it since he was a potential top 5 NFL Draft pick. Yet he played so well he used the threat of playing in the NFL to negotiate the richest contract of the MLB Draft. Also had the 2 most epic World Series HRs but is NEVER mentioned on great dual sports athlete lists. Only 3 yrs played over 132 games due to injuries: #1, #6, #18 in MVP voting those yrs.; in 118 games had 34 SB/ 28 HRs in 1989. In 89 games had 28 SBs in 1990 at 33.

Yep, I agree. Tebow is a solid Man who loved the sport, is athletic & gave it a shot over a few years. Kudos to him for trying. Great video, good job.
  • @bojanglesfries
He played in my city, Columbia SC. Didn't watch him play but they still hand up his jersey in the merch shop.

Thank you for making this video. I appreciate your analysis of his career as something a little bit more than what shows up in the box score. I didn't know he stuck at it as long as he did, being a great teammate and not complaining.
