Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., questioned FBI Director Christopher Wray in a House Judiciary hearing Wednesday about the investigation into the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump on July 13 at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Massie asked if the FBI had any evidence that the shooter had any assistance.

“So far, underline, so far, we have not found any evidence of any accomplices or co-conspirators, foreign or domestic,” Wray said.

The House Oversight Committee grilled Kimberly Cheatle, director of the U.S. Secret Service at the time of the deadly shooting, on Monday. Members on both sides of the aisle called for her resignation and she announced Tuesday she was stepping down. Cheatle repeatedly referred lawmakers seeking details to the investigation being carried out by the FBI.

If these guys were answering questions like that in the “private sector”…….they would be fired immediately!
  • @sbl17jackson37
Wray doesn't have the number of counter snipers. That's bs.
  • @kaalen24
9 days later. “We are still looking into that”.
  • Lies, lies and more coverup! I despise this man and his agencie's involvement in the assassination attempt.
  • @jackiedefoe7365
Typical excuses from FBI director bc he knew he would need to answer questions but of course he’s unprepared as always, Christopher Wray is a liar

If I didnt have all information after 9 days and my job told me I was to go to a hearing and all I said was "yeah im still looking into it" or "we dont have that information right now", I WOULD BE FIRED! RIGHT THEN AND THERE! FIREDDDDDDDD!
  • @deadgolfer6345
There is no way they don't have this information by now.
  • why was it necessary to say 'it was a bloodied receipt?' Because he was attempting to appear more knowledgeable than he actually is here. Over-Statement is Compensation.

I'm less than 30 seconds in and already he answered with "i don't know the number of countersnipers.....", do any of the people in charge of these agencies prepare for hearings at all ? I mean at least bring some staff with you to provide information on some of the details you're likely to be asked about, wouldn't that be part of Congressional hearing prep 101? The assassination attempt on a candidate for president is a big deal, isn't it ?
  • @tonysoprano4587
How do Youtube'ers know more than the F.B.I. Director??? Job security is great for liberals.
  • @Dahlia4777
Wray is as useless as the rest of this embarrassing administration!
  • @julieahani
I want to know about the shooter and his family! And, why don't you know how many shots eere fired at the shooter. That is absolutely ridiculous and a lie. SO many ways to know this. We need the testimony of the officers that were there and actively involved instead of these loser directors! Really! Americans are not stupid.

  • @dearally4787
So He interviewed the sniper several times but doesn’t know where he was positioned when he took the kill shot? Did I miss something?
