Honestly, I envy people who stay the same size so much. My weight also fluctuates so I hang on to sentimental pieces that don't even fit me anymore way too long. Also I always felt like I had to hold on to things in case I got bigger/slimmer again and would need another wardrobe. The latter point has gotten better though since I started thrifting and I know I can just rebuild a wardrobe without breaking the bank :)

It's midnight here so I won't get to decluttering right now but I had to say I LOVE the fact that this video is so long so I can work on my own apartment while watching it! Nothing motivates me more than cleaning at the same time as someone else

I originally found your channel through one of your closet cleanouts and stayed for everything else because of your humour and personality. But I think what I love watching about your declutters is it is so much more realistic than most "influencers" who have excessive amounts of clothes etc. Like your closet looks similar to mine, so I enjoy watching it because it's so much more realistic and you also actually get rid of stuff too!

My rule with clothes that dont currently fit me but might again (because of weight fluctuations) is I have one medium sized box that I keep tucked away and all the clothes that don't quite fit but I want to keep go in there and stored away so i don't have to think about them or have them cluttering up my wardrobe, but I still have my favourite pieces for if i do loose or gain weight again. And my self-imposed rule is I cant keep more than fits in that one box.

If your weight fluctuates you could always store other sizes in a stackable bin and put it on that top shelf. That way you have the clothes when you need them but they aren’t taking up valuable hanging space and this way you are sending less clothes to the donation centers and ultimately the landfill when they are unable to sell them or unable to process them.

Im going to college in a few months for my freshman year and I need to downsize majorly and the idea of separating read and tbr books gave me motivation to declutter!!!

Tip for mould in showers - gel toilet cleaner. Add to rolled up paper towels and place on areas over night. Rinse
