Ten years ago, on the 9th of September 2013, Hey Brother was released as one of the lead singles on True, an album that came to shape a new era of electronic dance music. This is raw footage of Avicii performing Hey Brother live at the True Tour: a mix of the demo version transitioning into the official song featuring the vocals of American bluegrass musician Dan Tyminski.

The fusion between house and bluegrass in Hey Brother is a perfect representation of Avicii’s ability to seamlessly blend different genres, creating the unique sound of True that transcended the boundaries of genres and left a lasting impact on the music landscape.
