Simon, you ignore all those silly people telling you to talk less. Your sidetracking and rambling are why I enjoy this show so much!
  • @Maxamili
Ah yes, Jay Zed. One of the all time greats.

Alpo got out 6 years ago...He was murdered on Halloween 2021.
  • @phillycartell
Well Alpo's happy ending truly didn't last too long since he got killed in Harlem this week. Still made out way better than most do in that life

You should do the story of Linda Taylor, the so-called "welfare queen". She was inaccurately used as a stereotype for those on welfare, but the truth is she was a major, and terrifying criminal. Her conviction for welfare fraud was similar to Capone's conviction for income tax evasion - the only thing they could pin on her. She was suspected of so much more - kidnapping, ransom, and murder for a few. She was also so terrifying that many of her own family were afraid to speak out against her even after her death .

Sure, Simon, you knew it wasn't "J-zed". We believe you...Allegedly 😏

Killing criminals and killers doesn't upset people as much as murdering children and young adults, I think.
  • @nickj4526
Alpo is definitely NOT in witness protection. He’s all over YouTube today.

I think the main reason contract killers are (slightly) less unnerving than serial killers is because, as you said, contract killing is a job. Serial killing is more of a hobby. Contract killers murder for a specific purpose whereas serial killers are murdering to relax/unwind/get off/for fun. Also, we tend to glorify contract killers in fictional media. You can probably think of a dozen movies/video games off the top of your head where a cool contract killer is the protagonist.
  • "gun beats bat" sounds like rock-paper-scissors rules for crime. I'll file that away with "gun beats knife."
  • @jokaman03
Being from D.C, I have heard of him, but I was surprised to find you covering him on this channel. As usual great work!
  • @melimsah
"Why do you have to talk so much???" Um, excuse me, if I wanted murders with Simon without random talking and tangents and mistakes, I'd just stick to Biographics :P
  • @RecursionX
Simon makes so many videos, if aliens arrived and studied our archives, they’d conclude he was the most important human that ever lived.
  • @wrmlm37
Your debate over the "value" of seized drugs, really mad me chuckle!
  • @badger297
Just found this channel today and it is easily my favorite of your channel so far. Please don't lose the little sense of humor and side notes that you have on these videos. I thought it was hilarious
  • @mariet4894
I think police just don’t prioritise these murders. A lot of people refer to them as “public service murders”. It is only when the person doing the killing becomes too big of a problem that police get involved.
  • It's different because being a hitman is his job and he's killing (at least mostly) other criminals, unlike a serial killer who kills innocent people for his own gratification. There you go Fact boi.
  • @FEDDGNIK
This is by far my fav Simon channel. I really like the chilled format where he can be himself more
  • As a NE DC resident I must say this is a video I never thought I'd see from Simon on any of his 23 channels lol
