Dear friends
It’s been a while since I managed interstate travel, so I decided to venture a little further to Klang to feature their bakuteh. Of course in order to determine the best 8 outlets I’d need to make many trips to Klang, thankfully Klang is only 16km away from my home in Subang Jaya. Klang is the home to bakuteh with over 400 outlets, so to single out the 8 best is quite a challenge, perhaps I’d need to do a few sequels to be more comprehensive. Hope you’ll like my recommendations for this episode and meanwhile please go out and support our local street food. How about starting with bakuteh in Klang since interstate travel is allowed. Thanks and see you in the next.

Always enjoy your well thought out balanced food review!! Like learning something new about our culinary history ! Thanks for the insights!! At the moment just have to do with the supermarket Bak Kut Teh condiments which is nothing close to the real macoy! Still, it will do for the cold grey UK weather!! Looking forward to having the real treat!!

Hi Elmo. Thanks for making these videos and definitely keep it up especially with the historical or interesting elements of the food. I hail from Klang myself and infact Teluk Pulai is where I grew up as a kid. I have since moved to Australia and these 2 years have not been able to travel back for the good food, see friends and family members. Watching your videos brings back fond memories of places I used to visit and makes me miss home all the more. I look forward to watching more of your videos.

Thanks for the great video. In klang you will not find a bad BKT stall. Its hard to say which is my favorite cause in klang there are many to choose from. There is one in pandamaran where they put dried cuttle fish and cili padi. Love it. :)
  • Thanks for the video will definitely go and try these shops cause most places BKT alot of ajinamoto scared to eat 😂
