We go inside the New York City courtroom where Donald Trump became the first former U.S. president to face a criminal trial. The case centers around alleged hush money payments Trump made to adult film star Stormy Daniels just before the 2016 election. This special livestream is hosted by MSNBC anchor and legal contributor Katie Phang, who has extensive trial experience as a former Florida state prosecutor. Katie is joined by reporters who saw Trump inside that courtroom first-hand as well as legal analysts and jury selection consultants. You will hear exactly how it all went down on this historic day.

  • Thank you Katie Phang and Joyce Vance for teaching all of us about all of this. Ive been following most of every day and one thing Ive learned, is that if I was charged with a serious crime, and I walked into court and saw Joyce Vance at the prosecutors desk, I would be downright terrified. I love hearing everything you speak on. Thank you. Thank you all for your hard work to help us all understand!!🎉❤❤

  • Katie you’re just an awesome talent! Thanks for this YT stream. I don’t have tv and I work during the day, so you’ve provided a window into the trial for me that was absolutely necessary.

He's right when he says we've never seen anything like it, but I don't think that means what he thinks it does.

This is so great! Thank you Katie Phang and Gang!! Absolutely fascinating history unfolding before us. I love how much I am learning about our system of justice--when it operates with maximum humanity and gives massive concessions to ensure the defendant has exhaustive access to all forms of protection for his rights. Everyone should be treated with such respect.
  • Keep the live streams please i would like to see MSNBC live on Youtube 24/7.

Always great to hear from Mary Trump !! Thank You !
  • Katie, Mary, Charles, and Joyce...what a terrific panel. Thanks for the explanations and commentary. So very informative! On another note, I don't care how long DJT has to sit in the courtroom. I love the fact that he is not in charge. I saw some photos of DJT today.....he looks terrible. Too many late nights spent tweeting lies and a an absolutely corrupt and poisonous character.
  • Thank you for having that and I will be watching it more likely everyday.
