Its complicated by the fact that a lot of people use media/internet for their ONLY safe space. (A huge socioeconomic issue in and of itself... that we have to cling so hard to our happy attachments...) and, working class ppl end up sharing that space with people who are privileged and it creates a wild feedback loop of enabling bad habits. corpo's are obviously more than happy to oblige these fantasies it seems. Thanks for sharing a little window into these genres. My ass is not staying on Twitter either 😆
