I went stealth camping with Crazy Neighbor in a fake construction site. We set up some scaffolding and put some planks in for bunk beds. The Big Buddy heater provided all the warmth required for a relatively cold night. A wind storm made the camping a little more difficult than expected but not impossible! We had enough traffic cones and caution tape to complete the illusion.

Imagine walking by a construction site with just scaffolding in the middle of a field with a tarp wrapped around it. From the tiny space you hear every tool in the world going off, someone pulling on a roll of duct tape, someone talking loudly, and it smells strongly like hamburgers.

Strobe lights...orange cones...reflective vests and the sounds of 10 guys working under a 5×8 tarp... the absolute definition of stealth.

This was so funny to watch, the sound of a 20 people crew with welding, grinding, wood sawing, jackhammers and cement mixers coming from some tiny 2x3m tarped scaffolding in the middle of the field made me laugh throughout the whole video. Couldn't stop thinking about it lmao

The most non stealthy stealth camp ever. Love it, Steve.

2 crazy Canadians falling asleep to a recorded jackhammer on a scaffolding platform in the freezing cold is absolutely priceless.

This reminds me of that SpongeBob episode where they’re in the box and you can hear every sound imaginable 😂
  • Your crazy neighbor seems like he has such a genuine soul, he seems so happy to have a friend to hangout with and do stuff like this, his smile is contagious.

The construction sounds in a tiny tarped scaffolding had me rolling on the floor.

I’m pretty sure Steve is the actual crazy neighbor, and Glenn is the sane one! Love this!

This is so wholesome and innocent, just two friends in a fort they built. It's like one of those textless story arcs from calvin and hobbes
  • @LarnNicole
Ah yes i always bring my 10 hours of construction sounds playlist to the campsite. Makes for a relaxing nights sleep

Steve has gone from being stealthy to being so obvious no one would ever consider he's doing something, he shouldn't
  • This is probably my new favorite Camping With Steve video. The construction sounds coming from that little shelter remind me of Snoopy going into his doghouse. You never see the inside of the doghouse but there are always sound effects that give the impression his doghouse is huge inside. All your videos are great, Steve.. this one is a real gem!

Tarp wrapped scaffolding in a field... 20 man crew inside building the Taj Mahal... I think my curiosity would force me to investigate. What ridiculous and wonderful idea! Love it Steve!
  • @kingandjames
Steve's gone from stealth camping to stunt camping, and it's great.
  • This is ridiculous....and I'm all for it! The noises coming from the speaker had me dying
  • @sephjfox
With the cones, tape, sounds, and blinking light the scaffolding almost looks like a covered entrance to an underground gasline construction operation
  • The scaffolding really made me laugh. How high up do you need to go in an empty field!?!?? Lmao and the construction notices are a hilarious touch! No way you slept with that jack hammering all night lmao
