A Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician Inspects one of the Best Lexus Models Ever Made! The Lexus LS430.

People often regard the Lexus LS400 as the best Lexus ever made. And while it is definitely one of the best models ever made but the Lexus LS430 truly takes it to the next level.

I truly believe that the Lexus LS430 is one of the best Lexus models if not the best one ever made. It is an older model but it is still holds up very very well on every aspect.

They hold their values well. It also is still a good buy today even as they age. Their issues are minimal and the build quality is truly impressive.

Bought a 2002 LS 430 with 129000 km in 2020. Never driven anything like it. Took it to shop thinking I may need to do some maintenance on it,brakes, etc. My very honest mechanic told me don't waste your money, car needs nothing done.Went ahead and did oil change anyways. Two years later, not a cent spent.Amazing car

I just love this guy. He is genuine, doesn't try to BS everyone and dazzle them with his hip hop or anything. He really knows his stuff. I drive a Lexus and can say that a lot of his information that I'm aware of is correct. Good for you, man. Keep up the good work. I'll keep watching.

I like the meticulous way you work on the car and preserve how they were originally built, screws, clips, and all. I wish all mechanics are trained to be this way.

I have owned the 1uz, 2uz, and 3uz engines. Best engines I have ever owned, period. Sold the 1uz with 300k, both my kids have the 2uz with over 250k each, and my 3uz I sold with 280k, my wife currently has a 3uz with 88k miles. Unbelievable machines.

When Alan Mulally was named CEO of Ford back in 2006, he said he drove a LS430, because it is the finest automobile in the world. He was also a former Boeing executive before his stint at Ford.

Love my LS430! I’m the second owner for past 12yrs. Regular maintenance and appreciation for it = zero problems. Heck, I want a 2022 Tundra and still can’t pull the trigger ONLY due to how well my LS has treated me ❤️ 🚗!
  • @canoeshoe
Glad you brought up the aircraft rated spec of the engine. Not many people know that.

I got my dads 2003 ls 430 as a hand-me-down car during college and drove it for 3 years until it had 356k miles. The car was used thoroughly it’s whole life, regularly driven 20k or more miles a year while my dad had it. Never once was there a mechanical issue of any kind for the entire life of the car, nothing in the suspension was ever replaced and it still drove better than most new cars. The interior never had a creek, squeak or rattle and the only wear was on the steering wheel like this car. This car is simply a marvel of engineering and you should buy one if you can.
  • I inherited my parents' 2004 ls430 2 yrs ago with 29,000 miles. They kept it in a garage and it's in perfect shape (except for the sunglass holder) I've put 30,000 on it since then and it is the perfect ride!!!
  • It’s actually nice to hear that people still take care their cars from new for long time and pass on to next one There still some hope to find decent used vehicle

My favorite car, had a 2002 LS430 that finally gave in on me after 584k I love the Lexus LS430 it's the best car ever!
  • @DWRECKED91
A few months ago I purchased a 2006 LS430 Modern Luxury with 96k miles, great car. Happy with it so far.
  • @Jiggysaw
wow 2004 LS430!!!!!! This car has a special place in my heart also, I was in University at the time in Windsor Ontario, I distinctively remember checking out the Lexus model line including the LS430 at the DETRIOT AUTOSHOW :D the one thing I noticed is how QUIET the interior was once you closed the doors, it really really filters out the noise from the outside like no other car!!!!! Thank you for the great review AMD, God bless your good work!!!!!
  • @boogitybear2283
My Uncle had a 2001 LS430 and sold it to his son in law when it had 430k miles. He recently found a 2009 LS460L with only 33k miles, but I still rather have the 430 than 460.
  • @JayTdub13
The UZ engines are amazing. I did a bunch of stuff to a beater Tundra I had a year ago or so. I was blown away how smooth and well built it was. You could put a full cup of water on it while running and it wouldn’t spill a drop. Smooth as can be.
  • @jamram9924
This is my dream tuna boat. I’ve worked on them in an import shop. Hands down a Lexus over a BMW and MB.
  • AMD, Beyond the QDR and luxury, what appeals to me most about this generation of LS is the classic sedan styling. This car is not a 4 door pretending to be a coupe with the modern sloping roof line that DESTROYS rear seat head room, it is a sedan that is proud to be a sedan . In your review of the current LS a few months ago you noted how little rear head room it has and you are 5'8". Bring back real sedans like the LS 430😁😁😁
  • @abdulnaser5829
Ls430 the best car model ever made among all of Toyota cars.. Can never get enough of this....❤💚💙
  • @booster8497
I remember working on these when they were new at the Lexus dealer. Absolutely love them. Specially the 04 or 05 when they introduced the 6 speed trans. We used to get people left and right trading in their Mercedes and BMW for these cars.
  • @MC-pb3lu
Great content as always AMD! Glad I got mine before this video dropped :) . The secret is out and the values are continuing to climb. Such an amazing car and value for the money.
