A neighbor of mine had the last year model LS 430 ('06 I think) which he drove for 560,000 miles before he was rear ended and totaled the car. Never any issues just normal maintenance and replacement items. He replaced it with the exact same vehicle that he bought used with about 120,000 miles. His goal is to record more miles than his previous LS.

Back in the late 90's, my boss had one of these & I got to drive it, for delivering customer orders. Big, fast, quiet, comfortable & one heck of a stereo. What a way to go! 😲😲😲

One thing I got to say about the beauty covers is that they actually do a great job of soundproofing the ticking noise of the injectors on my 2017 Kia Sorento..that crappy 2.0 GDI Turbo oiling burning piece of...BLEEEEP!
  • @ms3173
The most beautiful LS model IMO

I recently sold my 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and bought a used Lexus IS 350 .. I love it .. Lexus is an Amazing Car company..the interior is just gorgeous

I think these deep diagnostic videos are my favorite Scotty vids.

If one is to get an LS460, stay away from 2007-2012 if you can help it. Respectively, the 2013-2017 LS460 is the better route. If you desire an older LS, my recommendation is the 98-00 LS400 or the 05-06 LS430 which featured the most year end model updates. This tattered LS460 is still better than any W220 or W221 Benz, believe that.

I took a ride in the back of a LS400 back in 1990. I've been in love with Lexus ever since 😍

My 2019 Lexus GS-F has a V8 and it's the smoothest running engine I've ever seen, love it.

    Always learning something from Scotty!

Recently had a Lexus in here for intermittent stall at a stop light. Dealer thought it might be the alternator???? @ They wanted $800.00 for the not sure repair. I checked it out. Told her the battery was weak. Low voltage at idle could cause the IAC to not work properly. A month later she stopped in. Said it never stalled again and gave me a nice tip!

I bought a 2008 ES350 specifically because it's built off a Camry. My previous camry ran perfect for years until a head on collision...which the car saved my life. Thought about getting the V8 4 door....but remembered....I basically own a camry in my ES350.

As someone who is learning mechanics your honesty a really entertaining channel. Keep it up
  • I had one of those and I finally traded it in after it had a coolant leak under the intake manifold that cost a fortune to fix. It sure was fun car to drive but it had too many issues. I got a 4Runner and it’s great.

ive been trying to get one of these ls460s for over a year now, but the prices just keep increasing ever since i started looking for one. Looking for 2010-12 models since ive seen a few complaints for the prior model years. Almost an attainable dream car for me at this stage in life.
  • Old tobacco road near the airport. Love seeing roads I've driven in your videos. Welcome to Clarksville Scotty!
