i did the song live in a single take, then added a couple of things on top afterwards, it was inspired by what i saw out the window which was mist "cloud inversions" as you can see in the vid, i basically got up, recorded the song, then shot extra parts of the vid. bish bosh bash :).

i did the song live in a single take, then added a couple of things on top afterwards, it was inspired by what i saw out the window which was morning mist "cloud inversions" as you can see in the vid. i made the vid and realised the performance vid of it was boring so went and filmed what i saw out the window haha. this was at The Lengths Studio In scotland. info link in description. a video is coming about PortaKosmo soon! (the synth i made this on)

That’s awesome, glad there is a next generation that appreciates synths, the future is safe
-
I'd love it if you uploaded a 2hr long track like this. Would have it on repeat for years
-
Sam has always been an incredibly multi-talented genius. This track shows off his powers of composition. It is a remarkable recording. You can hear the landscape made its way in to the music. Fantastic performance!
-
Filtered noise is underrated. Song sounds awesome! Nice visuals too!

Nice to know there are such exemplary perfectionists who are artists and not just "techno-wizards". A master of making chaos into something musical, and I would love to go to his museum he is building sometime. I feel like it would be a sort of spiritual quest to relish the epitome of sound. The Furby organ was what first got me. Super.

Long time watcher. In the 50+ demographic. Outstanding work. Both your music and the museum. You are an inspiration to those with the curiosity to experiment in electronics and electronic music. Keep it up.

The rumbling of our spin drier upstairs came in just as you opened the blinds giving a really cool sub-bass!
-
Really awesome track! It has clear marks of being your music, but there's something in it that also suggests a very different direction than a lot of your songs. I really like it!
-
This is quite possibly the most inspired track you've done... epic stuff
-
Amazing! I could see this one in a movie as a soundtrack ❤
-
It's incredible how this song conveys that we only have this one beautiful and fragile world! Think about it! ❤
-
Most definately your best music so far. Love the return to basics.
-
If I've ever written something vaguely OK, I'll always check it has 'The Stuff' by watching clips of the Highlands whilst it's running in the background. Bravo. Yours clearly has 100% of it.
-
Damn this was a good jam! There's nothing better than moody instrumental synth music. I hope you continue making more stuff like this.
-
Astonishing! Your musical progression is absolutely fantastic!
-
Beautiful track with perfect visuals to match. Top notch as always Sir.
-
This is soooo good! And the recorded visuals elevate the experience! Awesome stuff!

Out of the 3 most recent songs, I keep returning to this one. This is the one I am sharing with friends. I do like the monolith theme in the second video, and the river swirls in the 3rd. A monolith lit up in the woods would be cool too. ;) (Maybe petrol generator ) I think you are onto somthing with this particular track. Really well done Sam.

Absolutely awesome! That is pretty much spot-on my taste in music right there.
