You are awesome! Exactly what I was looking for! As an Instructional Designer I'm called upon to do more with audio than most ID tools allow for so I chose Audacity. I opened the tool and it didn't take long to realize I didn't know what I was doing. I Googled how do I edit in Audacity and there you were. Thank you so much for getting me up and running with audio editing in Audacity, great training piece BTW.

Great program, Audacity. I am using it since years to make nice megamixes even two hours long, and many VST effects can be added to the library to modify sound or make effects (phasers, flangers, choruses, echoes,, delays, reverbs...) many are freeware available at kvr audio. Can export in Mp3 and Flac, very useful Audacity.
