If I have a grid tied solar PV system, will this be able to run withe input from the grid tied solar while in "off grid" mode? Assuming no, but hoping yes. :)

@EcoFlow , Question, if i have a generator and i want to Charge this and not go directly to an inlet, can i plug a Genie Directly into the unit and charge while the home is on Bat Backup? If so am i limited to the just the 110 AC input for charging? Thanks

Great video. Wish EcoFlow had their own financing.

Is the smart panel designed in such a way that the critical circuits are still powered even if the ‘smart’ feature/circuitry gets fried or dies?
  • Thank you for the video! I really appreciated the part at the end where you mentioned you showed in an older video that the 4 Ton A/C Could be run off a single DPU Inverter. I know on the website it said something about needing to be 120 LRA or below. My A/C Unit at home is 127.1 LRA and I don't believe it has a soft-start like yours. Would having 2 inverters mitigate the risk of the DPU(s) being able to handle my A/C Unit? (Live in Texas and Hurricane season succcckssss)
  • So, for power management, my view is the inverse of what you did. I believe that the main panel needs to have backup coverage with small exceptions. I want to be able to control 2 circuits currently in my main panel: Hot Tub, and EV Charger. Those need to go offline when grid goes off, but can be commanded on (so put in SHP2 circuits). Everything else we have manual control over, therefore main panel is on the "always-backed-up" list. Does DPU with SHP2 provide for this?

So far two questions, they have a trade in program and i already have a delta pro, should i keep that and just use it with the ultra? Will the ecoflow smart generator work in the generator port? Great video

Thank you… please make more in depth videos like this for buyers newly adopting the eco flow platform… this was much needed i assure you.. From DUBAI with ❤

Does the SHP2 come with the two cables to run from the Ultra to the Smart Home Panel or are they sold separately? Same with the breakers... need to buy any breakers? Great video!

I recently ordered the new Delta Pro Ultra from EcoFlow, but I'm having a frustrating issue. They sent me the inverter but not the battery, and to make matters worse, they charged me for the full unit. When I emailed them to ask about the missing battery, they informed me that the batteries for this unit are out of stock and will be available in mid-July. However, when I called their customer service number, I was told the batteries would be in stock in early July. These conflicting dates are leaving me stuck with a Delta Pro Ultra and no battery indefinitely. Adding to my frustration, their website still allows people to order the kits and the batteries as if they're readily available.

Can the ultra be charged with the car's (cigarette lighter) port?

Just bought DF Pro Ultra. How do I access any type of customer support? I need startup/setup instructions. Don’t want to blow something up! Feel like I’m on my own out here…
  • I have an inquiry Can the solar system provide power to the house to offset utility demand and charge the battery? Thanks
  • @jvbarius
Would i be able to power a single circuit on the SHP2 using the Delta Pro Ultra, or is it all circuits or nothing with either battery or grid? Said differently, if i have 12 circuits on the SHP2 but only want to power the A/C unit circuit with the battery overnight while the other circuits draw from the grid, is that doable?
  • @russianaries
Question: Do the batteries get charged through the Smart Home Panel 2, directly from the main circuit breaker? Or do you keep the inverter plugged into the wall outlet to keep them charged (assuming no solar input is available)?
  • @kevinjarvis1661
What is your preferred portable solar panel of choice to run with the EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra? I noticed at the 31:10 mark, you show two panels that are more of a ‘portrait’/vertical orientation (versus many that are horizontal) with nice structure. What brand are these vertically oriented panels? Very informative. Great video.

Question; I have 25 circuits in my 200 amp main panel and plan to move the 12 most critical to this smart sub panel strictly for emergency power needs using a 2 battery Ultra configuration. My concern is the reliability of this smart panel and specifically the manual transfer switches. What type of switches are these? Are they a simple electro-mechanical switch where if the automated portion fails the manual function still works? I don't want to dedicate the 12 most critical circuits in my home and later experience a switch failure in the panel with no way to switch power for those circuits as for me it's either grid or battery. I've read at least one instance of a user having a panel issue where EcoFlow sent them a replacement SH2 panel which is an expensive swap out if an electrician is required. Are control components in this panel replaceable without having to disconnect and remove the entire panel?

QUESTION. The app shows the charging power can be set from 500 watts to 7200 watts. What should I set it on? Thanks in advance.
