Our scene was Oscar worthy. I vote YouTube bring rewinds back but with the 2013 rewind energy. Massive explosions and all.

I HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT WANTING REWIND BACK FOR YEARS!!! I am so glad someone big finally said something about it! I found out about them after the 2016 one was released and it was my favorite YouTube thing to look forward to! I hope this starts to have an impact on the community!

The whole thing of being excited to watch youtube rewind as a community in december is so real tho. It was something I looked forward to so much every year and I have such good memories of it. I loved recognizing all my favorite youtubers like a game of wheres waldo. I miss it a lot but its undortunate that youtube took advantage of youtubers like that

They were really wrong for not including the tseries vs pewdiepie battle. It was trending for almost the whole year.

I can safely say the animators were the best part of 2018's rewind for everyone, no matter how cringe one found it.

I remember being in grade 9 when 2018 rewind released, and then after watching it with like 5 of my friends, we all went. " Well... that was trash..." And then at the count of three we all pressed dislike to live up to the tradition. I do genuinely miss rewind, though.

What youtube didn't understand when they took away youtube rewind was that we didn't simply hate yt rewind. We loved to hate it, and we did so together

I really hope they bring it back no matter how cringey it could be. It was so fun coming together as a community and uniting on hating that video. Shoutout Youtube for that unforgettable experience.

James' words at the end were true, YouTube became a corporate business like Hollywood and would only promote what would give profit, rather than promoting creativity like it originally did when it was still a community of ideas. Also, James IRL is rocking the mustache+stubble. Even his animations and humour are so comforting to watch.

It's sad that we will never have this feeling again, I remember here in Brazil, we were waiting to see who would show up, good times that don't come back :(
