Also with the college protests- the way the protests are being done are super Taurus like. It’s students hunkering down and staying in one spot as protest.

I'm a clinical psychologist who has studied archetypal psychology and astrology for the past 30 years, and I fully support your concerns and observations about the media coverage of the astrologer's mental health episode. Psychosis and paranoia are only partly understood, but there is some consensus that they are not a failure of reason or an inherent hazard of spiritual awareness or cosmological imagination. Quite the contrary, psychosis, as the psychiatrist Iain McGilchrist points out, is partly a function of the left hemisphere's tendency to literalize, to take abstract ideas as concrete, univalent, objective facts rather than as polysemic, archetypal images and metaphors. The right hemisphere imagines, and the left hemisphere sometimes goes awry by taking those imaginings too literally. As you both pointed out, the astrologer was evidently suffering from a form of mental illness that had nothing to do with her study of astrology. She and her loved ones deserve our compassionate attempts to understand what happened, not our rationalistc judgment that provides false comfort by distancing ourselves from the admitted tragedy.

I was in the path of totality. It was dark enough that we could see some stars. The temperature dropped about 6 degrees during totality. Also, my tulips closed their blooms.

I have a confession, apologies in advance. The tone of voice you both share, chill vibe and pleasing to the ear cadence have a calming effect, which I value because I’m also going through family relationship sadness & frustration. The information you present is always so organized & intelligently communicated, and I highly respect everyone here. With that said, when Diana has been on, I’m also nostalgically reminded of SNL & the Schweddy Balls Delicious Dish skit, and I also appreciate that because it cheers me up & reminds me to be chill during stress as well. Thank you for supporting Mental Health awareness. I am a licensed therapist and the stigma is still alive and well. This is Mental Health Awareness Month in May.

Diana nailed it last month regarding water safety with the EPA announcement on plastic particles in drinking water.

Thank you both for bringing the clarity and compassion to this tragic occurrence with the Astrological community that certainly needs a healing balm as well as highlighting awareness of the mental health crisis currently happening. All I can think about is Daniel’s surviving 9 year old little girl. Prayers up for her🙏

Can’t wait to watch this. I’m a Leo rising with Taurus Stellium and so much has been happening lately. I signed the contract for a new lease yesterday and I’m moving today. On May 7th is my birthday and this year the celebration is bittersweet and delayed because my grandfather’s funeral will be that day. Lots of endings and new beginnings for me.
