I just returned a rental V6 Charger GT and i loved it. Man it looked sweet and for a V6, i must say it has plenty of go . The V6 back in the day are nothing to the ones the manufacturers are coming out with now. They put out as much as the late 90s early 00s V8s did.

One of my favorite cars is the Grand National, so V6 engines have potential. Its all about what you're willing to spend. There isnt a whole lot of off the shelf parts but theres always the custom route

Muscle car heritage is all about V8 power...but at the end of the day, it's about power and performance. A V6 will never have the girthy growl of a V8, but it's absolutely capable of big power, and it saves weight. So from a performance point of view...don't overlook a capable 6 cylinder!

Man if there was a dodge+nissan partnership, i think thatd be pretty crazy and cool
  • @ProjectMopar6
Boosted Lucky had a monster boosted v6 you must have watched his earlier videos when he had it because I remember you going in on the 3.6s šŸ˜‚
  • Iā€™m not skeptical bout that inline 6ā€¦i just think they need to bring back the conquest or the stealth for a powerful 6 cylinder

All Iā€™m saying is that Iā€™m having fun with my gutted supercharger v6 challenger and I donā€™t even put it to stage 2 yet, Iā€™m at 510hp now and on only on 10 psi. A YT guy named Shedder v6 got it to 600whp at 19 psi. Best starter build

I can't complain, i have one in the new Jeep Grand Cherokee L 3 row and I gotta say this thing moves comfortably at highway speeds of 110mph (dont tell the wife) and it tows 6000lbs (not my numbers but Jeep). These 3.6L engines has good balance of performance and efficiency. Will end up superchargering hopefully in the next year. Already reach out to a few companies about kits for my exact vehicle.

After driving all the v6s and base hemis as well as the fusion eco boost i agree the eco boost platform gets Hella disrespect and im working on mine. Im retiring it from meets after this season and it wont be back out until its all the way done and ready to take respect by force.
  • @MrKitty707
ive got a sebring with the big v6 and honestly its fun as hell lol! pretty peppy for 3000lbs
  • @OsitoForeverXIII
I got one of these pen engines in my 22 300 i wish the aftermarket for these engines was bigger or im just not looking hard enough any suggestions on where too look for engine mods would be great
  • @sethstatler8480
Man id kove to see another DOHC V8 running around. Im a GM or Toyota guy myself but those modular ford engines had so much more to offer and the potential they have with the mid range torque you get has always made me want to see an updated or improved DOHC v8 engine. It makes me wish for my own shop and tools hell i would design it myself. Trust me its not the first time it's crossed my mind.

I have a 2020 3.6 charger that has 32k on odometer and is making metal in the filter every oil change . The oil filter system allows the oil to drain out of all the oil galleys after an hour or so. Dry starts are killing her. WAS planning so major power mods but think Iā€™m gonna trade out of it
  • @redbuick
Buick went from one of the baddest 455 stage one big block v8's to 3.8litre turbo v6 so yeah there's potential. But i think a smaller displacement 8 cylinder might be in the works. Maybe a 5.0 to 5.7 with around 450+ horsepower .
  • @avrggamer69
But what you can do is buy a V6 charger or challenger stack your money and swap it out with a 5.7,6.4, or even the 6.2 drivetrain so you really can build your own R/T , scat pack or hellcat it's all plug and play. they'll fit without a issue because they share the same platform and plus you can spend less on insurance cause its concidered a "V6"

Do a vid on them Ford Explorer eco V6's that's out here tearing in folks ahh
  • @larryragland887
I could see dodge potentially going with a lower displacement engine like in my 95 caprice (which I think is a 4.6L) and adding boost to it.
