I could see this for Halloween as it looks like 4 giant spiders to me.
  • I agree with those saying this looks like giant spiders, but think exploding fireworks is another possibility. Interesting design, but I'm not seeing how it's a braided Irish chain.

It seems like this could be sewn with charms or even mini-charms. I love this pattern. Thanks for finding Melissa Corey for us!
  • I really like this pattern and I can envision two color quilt as well as sections in primary colors or pastels❣️ Thanks for sharing the seam directions tips. It is wonderful to have a tutorial to go along with the pattern.
  • For those that don't think it looks like a "braided" Irish chain, if you look at the pattern cover itself, it really shows why the designer called it that. I assume you would need to make the larger sizes to get that effect. It is really quite lovely. Thank you Jenny for showing us the ropes on this pattern!

This is a great quilt to use all you 2.5 inch spare squares and not use a jelly roll. Too bad we don’t see scrap busters as tutorials
  • I love the way you quickly trthreaded the needle in the middle of sewing..
