when searching for a base, the troops were automatically selected so when you missed the "next" button you placed a troop and had to attack that base -.-

I remembered that after you destroyed a player's base, you can visit them and still see the demolished structures you've accomplished.

When lvl 11 walls had blue electricity running through them instead of orange glowing lava

Im surprised no one talks about accidentally tapping the screen and having to engage in to the battle now you have to select a troop before attacking

I remember when you had to recharge bombs and traps with gold every time they where used.

When air sweepers were added to the game and most people refused to build it.

Out of all the things here, the one i missed most was global chat. Sure it can be toxic, full of trolls etc but when you landed on that one global lobby, thats where the interaction happens, thats where the fun is for me back then. Meeting different kinds of people and languange, it actually helped me be somewhat good at english since it is my second languange. And me being a kid back then, it was such an experience for me. I remember being 13 and having a full out religion debate on global chat, a fact or cap kinda debate and disproving each others argument, instead of giving empty insults like nowadays you would see. Funny thing is, after that we said our goodbyes, called it a good one, and went on with our days. Its a core memory of mine due to how weird and wholesome it is, as we started angry and hateful towards each other (or at least i am). and its one of the things i've missed of the old days, how civilized people were even with the worst trolls, and at the end of the day, it doesnt matter who you are, we're just here to have fun.

When Pekkas were the highest troop available Oh how much time has passed

When you had to collect the pumps and mines one by one. 😂

When the tesla did 1.5x more damage to Pekkas, big bombs did 2x more damage to hogs, and spring traps sprung faster against goblins

I remember looking at screenshots of bases and moving every single wall and building trying to make sure it was in the right spot just to realize I was a couple buildings, walls, or spaces off lol those were the days 😂

Man, this video really brings back memories. I used to play in 2013 for half a year and never played it ever since. I was surprised on how the game has progressed over the years. I might consider playing it again.

Best Things We Missed Is : "GLOBAL CHAT"

I bet nobody remembers the fact that you could save the tutorial wizards for ever and keep them at a level you shouldn’t be able to obtain them

This brings back the memories when me and my friends used to play COC a lot together. I feel old.

I got all of my coc memories back, everything you mentioned in the video , I experienced them all, we have came a long way since then...many times I uninstalled it and after some time I used to come back to the game, I miss those days ❤️

When just for clicking “find a match” they took your entire shield away without even attacking

OH MY! I remember being th3 and unlocking giants, I spent every last drop of elixir training a full 50 spaces of them (10 giants), got raided and lost them all! I was so upset. It took me months to get enough elixir from my collectors to train a new army!
