Did you know that in George Kleins book he said when Elvis collapsed in October 1973 and was in hospital for a while shortly after the divorce, George went to see him, Elvis asked him to bring a portable record player and some new records Elvis hadn't heard and one of the songs was The most beautiful girl by Charlie Rich, Elvis was so taken with the song he made George repeat the song about 5 or 6 times in a row, they spoke about the story of the lyrics which he said was telling a man who had driven away the love of his life and now regrets it. George said i couldn't help that each time we played the song he was thinking of Priscilla.

At first I thought Priscilla was not good to Elvis, but when I found out that it was Elvis who cheated on her first, I think Priscilla was right to leave him. Feel sorry for her. She did everything for him but Elvis doesn't appreciate it. So when Precilla left him Elvis found out his true feelings for her but it was too late, Elvis delivers his love to Precilla when he sang "It's midnight." But even Elvis doesn't treat Priscilla well but still I love them both they are my favorite couple from the 60's and still listen to Elvis beautiful songs, forever.

Thanks for the great video! Pictures tell a thousand words and it is so evident that they did share happiness and a tremendous love for each other. I think she is very misunderstood. Sadly, most of the Priscilla haters are misinformed and take whatever they have read or heard as 'facts' - without considering the source and doing their own due diligence and research. For example, Marty Lacker, Lamar Fike, and Sonny West have consistently said negative things about Priscilla. Well folks, just because they said it doesn't make it true. They were very resentful about Priscilla and perceived her as a real threat to their meal tickets. They have also said the most awful things about Elvis. With 'friends' like these who needs enemies. They were also not highly respected by most who were close to Elvis. If people are prepared to do their research they will find numerous interviews - audio & TV & print & books that substantiate this. I personally have either read transcripts or watched interviews with many of those closest to Elvis - who have all defended Priscilla and her decisions (both before and after the death of Elvis), and they have also confirmed that Priscilla was indeed the true love of Elvis. These people include Jerry Schilling, Joe Esposito, George Klein, Charlie Hodge, JD Sumner, Glen Hardin, Scotty Moore, DJ Fontana, Gordon Stoker, James Burton, Jerry Scheff, Joe Mascheo, Patsy Gambell, as well as the Graceland maids (e.g. Mary Jenkins), both of Elvis's nurses (Tish Henley & Marion Cocke), Norbert Putnam, Ernst Jorgensen, Felton Jarvis, - and the list goes on and on. Priscilla to this day still has a very close relationship with many of them. This wouldn't be the case if everything negative said about her was true. But sadly, many people get their information from sources & authors who didn't even know Elvis personally, and from previous so called Elvis 'friends/sychophants' that clearly carry resentment and have ulterior motives.

No matter what anyone says when Elvis choose Priscilla, Elvis found the woman who knew him better than anyone else. The fame he found pulled him in all directions, and finally away from Priscilla. I suppose when Elvis list the two ladies in his life, he realised then what he lost. The Attention of other women was just too much for Priscilla, but for Elvis it became part of his life, so they parted. Which was really sad. Good friends they remained and spoke often. That for Elvis had to be enough. Right to the end of his life he never stopped loving Priscilla or Lisa Marie.

Great video and wonderfully told Scotty Priscilla was Elvis true love but fame and other issues pulled them apart. They were great friends til the day he died she still adored him and vice versa. Looking forward to the next video.

There’s exactly the same years between me and my hubby… as ELVIS and Priscilla!!! ELVIS brought us together:) Loved that start!!! That was a hard hitting start but FAIR!!!!!!! Only ELVIS could save ELVIS! Jerry… spot on! Beautifully explained…. Looking at how they found each other in context is essential!!! The vulnerable insecure boy met someone who lifted his spirits! How beautiful. Inspired song choices!!!!! Beautiful text!!! Loved it so much. Well done guys. Can’t wait for part 2 xxx Beautiful ELVIS & Priscilla ❤️

Priscilla became his anchor after his mother passed. She still is, E.P. wouldn't be the legend he is today without her, business savvy and all💯‼️

Scot, Craig you never cease to amaze, yet another truely exceptional upload. The whole presentation done with sincerity, truthfulness and empathy. This particular narrative has been uploaded by many over the years, but always tinged with besmirchment and distain of both Elvi,s,s and Prscilas,s integrity and character. You guys have taken a different approach from an extremely unbiased and unquestionably fair and refreshing, point of view. You,ve presented the honest facts whilst placing them in their rightful context, with the blame game obliterated from your choice of vocabulary. Here we had an extremely vulnerable young man, in a foreign country weeks after losing his beloved mamma, his anchor, the very thing he lived and breathed for was gone from his life forever. I cannot imagine the desolation and despair he was going through, whilst still trying to appear so brave and strong to outsiders and his fellow serviceman. Fate works in mysterious ways and it was fate that put his beautiful little girl into his life, of course he was mindful of her age , but for those times when she brought happiness back into his gloomy world , he thought only in the moment . She herself a young girl yet mature enough of mind to be the listener the sounding board to sooth his troubles, or was she? Probably deep down he even questioned that. Nevertheless he was smitten , not only with her beauty, but with what he felt from her companionship and so much more. Returning home must have weighed heavyly on his mind, the thought of his mamma no longer being there, and the thought of his beautiful little girl not being around him either. As we know he left Germany, but he left a part of his heart there too, a part he knew he wouldn't be able to live without, despite knowing there was a girl who'd patiently waited for him to return home to Memphis to her arms. We all know the story, his beautiful little girl and him were reunited, but he knew she was too young to handle the lifestyle he'd become accustomed to, once she aged she,d see things in a totally different light, after all who wants to have to share their man with other women. He adored female company, there's no denying that, but the little girl who grew into a beautiful young woman needed companionship too, and deep down he knew that . You were quite right, they both misunderstood and wronged each other, and that can only lead to one thing. Their lives became messy, both doing their best and doing it their own way. The future they'd planned didn't quite happen the way it was supposed to. Thanks guys thoroughly enjoyed this,. and I take my hat off to you both for approaching this narrative with the sensitivity it deserved, not that I expected anything less. Looking forward to Part2

  • She was so beautiful. He couldn't resist and neither could she. Can't blame either of them for that. One of my fav songs.. good time Charlie's got the blues Tastefully done.
  • You’re so right again. Although when I read the book “ Destined to die Young “ that was written after years of investigation of him there was a whole new light shown on the true reason of a lot of Elvis’ problems that had been with him his entire life. I realize he did bring a lot of his problems on himself, but I never walked a mile in his shoes. I believe in my opinion that Priscilla was the only one he truly loved. There was many years of them together they did marry and had a beautiful daughter. They had a bond with each other that is so very undeniable in my humble opinion. I don’t like to hear anybody tear either of them down.
  • Thanks for this wonderful and respectful video about their love and their relationship...and as we all knew even if their marriage lasted they had a very deep relationship. You are missed so much, dear Elvis.🎤🎶💖♥️🎼💞
  • @michillene

Scotty and Craig, at last the truth. Craig's words are so beautiful and with the music you've chosen Scotty the whole video made me cry. I've said this many times and I'll say it again, God puts people in our lives and whether they stay together is already known by him. As I watched this another song came to my mind, "You Are My Destiny " . They were destined to be together but Elvis sings it best with " A Woman Without Love" . Thank you guys for this beautiful video. To me, there's no one better to tell this sad but beautiful love story than you two. I'll be waiting for part two, my dear friends 👍💗 ~~ Janet
