I didn't adopt him he forced his way into my garage and then my house and now he is one of the most closest friends I have every had. He is insanely loud and insanely strong and will lacerate me super deep and very demanding and the most loyal intelligent and steadfast feline familiar. I wish I could take him with me everywhere but he is so scitish, anything new and he runs like crazy and hides. Great video thx for making

They are SO smart. I just got a 8 week kitten. And I taught him once no to scratching furniture and now he only scratches his post. And they are so loving!!! Such an awesome cat breed.

If you are thinking of buying or adopting a bengal, do NOT underestimate their capacity and need for daily play sessions. Mine requires minimum 15 min in the morning before work and 20-30 min in the evening after work- otherwise, he gets hyperactive and overly curious. I'm sure not all bengals are equal and some are more chill than others, so YMMV. And playing doesn't just mean mindlessly whipping a string around for 30 minutes- no! My bengal is smart! He needs to be engaged mentally as well as physically. All the time, Im forced to come up with new ways and toys to play with him because otherwise he will get bored/not want to play/ and get destructive later on. Do your research people!

I've had two bengal cats. If you like cats that have dog-like qualities, this is the breed for you! One word of warning: they are very demanding (and vocal)!
  • We lost our dear boy two months ago at 18.5 years old, i miss him so much, smartest cat ever and the biggest monkey! His surviving half sister just turned 18

'No bathing is required'...well that can be a problem. My Bengal loves water and I was told this is very normal for the breed. Any activity that involves water will attract his attention (and mischief), from knocking over the cleaning bucket to slipping into the shower.

Though the narrator made a few mistakes (which to be honest should have been edited) I still prefer that to listening to the awful computer-generated voices that many YouTubers now use
  • I walk my bengal in the morning and evening just like a dog, plays fetch and hide and seek. If you do not spend this time with them they will tear your house apart

Having had Bengals for 15 years, one thing not mentioned here - should be. They are playful and as kittens, first thing you need to do is to teach them how to show love and affection without drawing blood. It can be done. Toys are for scratching and biting, hands are for petting. I LOVE Bengals.
  • I have a Bengal cat and she's amazing. All my guests ADORE her, and she's extremely sociable most of the time. (She can be a bit shy around young, noisy boys, but it passes.) She's not my first cat, so it was easier to adapt to a Bengal personality than if I hadn't had cats before, but the upsides of her active personality more than make up for the occasional unpleasant moments. I'd have another Bengal without hesitation.

my sister has 3 rosette bengal cats and they are not only smart and adventurous, but the absolute sweetest. apart from the Bombay cat, the bengal is highly recommended especially as a cuddly lap cat!

Thirteen to sixteen years life expectancy. If my dear only lived that long I would have felt so cheated! Thankfully he was with me for almost 19 years, I had to have him euthanised in March this year, damn it I think I will miss him forever 😥

I’ll never forget the first time I took my male Bengal to the vet. She put on elbow length gauntlets to handle him as she told us that she’d been warned about the volatile nature of the breed while studying to be a vet. Within 5 minutes, the gauntlets were off and she was giving him a belly rub. I’ve owned many cats through the years, but the most fun and by far the most affectionate have been my bengals.

My bengal is beautiful and very loving, she’s very moody though and voices her opinions on everything! 😍

Really nice video, but i think the sound of the voice chosen to render this was not the final, it seems to be unedited

Bengal cats also love playing with and in water. Once you've had one, it will always be a favourite.
