13:33 You actually kind of have to admire how Sonic is perfectly happy with the idea of running from a foe (even when it's his biggest rival), not because he's afraid or doesn't think he can handle it, but because he's a chill guy who prefers to avoid conflict whenever possible. It also shows that Sonic doesn't care what others think of him or if he earns the disapproval of others for not conforming to their notions about honor.

For a game primarily targeting a children audience, I think the theming of this story is quite mature. Even though the theme of life, death, and existentialism is very light, I can appreciate that the earlier Sonic storylines were willing to at least touch on subjects like this.

42:36 this was the best cutscene in the game for me. 1:the timing of the armor going onto sonic to the music 2:i love how the sword slowly grows to the tip, again, to the epic music. It sends chills down my spine 3:THAT. LIGHT. EXPLOSION.

I really wish we got more games like this with good writing, and good humor. This was well written, the voice actors were incredibly well directed in this, and while the gameplay is iffy, I feel there is potential for future games like this.

Honestly, I enjoyed this game for the story. It's an interesting twist to the original story, and the voice actors did an amazing job its ridiculous. Jason Griffith is such a good sonic.

"Why do flowers bloom, knowing they are destined to wither?" To those of you saying the Merlina's plan came out of nowhere, this was the point where it was alluded to.

That flower Merlina holds resembles a Marigold- symbolizing despair and mourning. Fits pretty damn well with Merlina's motivations- I love this game's attention to detail
