Good thing I watched the Pecron 500 watt alternator charger for the power stations. It charges any brand. 134 dollars with a discount code. 😊

Thank you for this review. Very helpful!

Yay, more rabbit holes of products you must have!!!.

Thanks for sharing. Would love to see you do a detailed review of the new Victron Orion XS 700 watt DC-to-DC unit with 98% efficiency when you can get your hands on one.

I bought a 700w pure sign inverter and a 20’ jumper cables that cannibalized for cheep cables and that charges my delta 2 amazingly! All in with connectors for around $200 bucks.

Your looking at it right behind you a 1000w power inverter in your car will do the same exact thing for 10 percent of the price

Basically a more sophesticated version of the Daygreen chargers and dc-dc step up converters sold online. I use a 12 to 58V step up dc to dc charger from Daygreen. 100A input 20A output 1072watts. Use it to charge Oecron E1500lfp and E600LFP power stations at the same time.

I'm like you, we drive a lot of trails and go explore a region when off grid. Solar doesn't make sense for me, I've been slow charging from the 12v plug and this device solves all my power issues.

Love it.

I for one, will be buying this accessory for my ecoflow delta pro when I purchase it

I could only get about 60-80W from my Prius's 12V power port for my EcoFlow Delta Mini. So I built a simulated 300W solar input to take power directly from the 12V battery (only while it is charging) buck it up to 24V, and pipe that into a "solar" charging cable. Now it recharges at 300W whenever the Prius is in Ready mode. I don't bother with solar.

Great video and product. Seems the actual install is a pain in the ass. Love to see some videos on easy installation.

Got mine for $399. I’m planning to add a 30’ 1/0 extension to the battery cable with clamps for quick temporary install. This will allow me to charge my delta pros and delta 2 max inside the house or 5th wheel.

I have a 400w inverter in my Bronco Sport Badlands and it is free, combined with my 420w portable panel, i have enough power. It is also work with any powerstation not simply Echoflow.

Get a renogy dc to dc / solar , cheaper and can use your solar at the same time. You want to only pull about 20% of your alternator as well. Plus the solar can trickle charge your starter battery.

Great review! Thanks for discussing the various options. Solar is nice. But unless you are staying put for the full day at your campground you’re stuck for charging. And not everyone drives 8 hours a day. The gas alone to do that is crazy right now. Thanks for showing the alternatives and how to connect them. Much appreciated!

Was just thinking what if you use this as a way to charge a off grid cabin instead of putting up solar panels or even having a gas generator use your vehicle to charge up the cabin batteries as needed and if you have a remote start for the car that would even be a bigger bonus :)

When using a real alternator, pulling the max wattage seems like you are going to wear out your alternator pretty fast for most cars or trucks. Running at high loads contiuously for long periods of time builds up a lot of heat in the windings. I will be interested in seeing the long term reviews for this vs a DC-DC charger

My new policy is to leave as soon as I hear 'game changer'.

I like that I can charge with my 560 watts of solar and this at the same time, plus the app is el neato.
