The Trouble with Ollie Part 2

2021-08-18に共有
What is the strangest job you have ever had? Mine was coaching movie star Oliver Reed in the delicate art of sleight of hand. This is the second part telling the story of the crazy month I spent with him on Nicolas Roeg's Castaway, a task which has to be one of the most unusual jobs in the history of motion pictures.
Oliver’s views on women and other rather unseemly observations are certainly not shared by my own. If you are easily offended by descriptions of raucous behaviour and appalling language please don't watch.
Come visit my London venue where many artefacts associated with these experiences are housed and on display. www.houseofmagic.co.uk/

People forget how many films Oliver Reed starred.
  • I’ve never seen him so relaxed and at peace with himself when he owned Broome Hall and was breeding horses and helped to save the house from falling into ruin. If only he hadn’t sold it and had stayed focused on those projects perhaps his demons might have stayed away
  • Sensational and outrageous! Thanks for sharing these amazing stories with us, Simon. I still think an audio book of your memoirs would be a sensation - you read/perform so evocatively. x
  • Dam it,this is astounding,I thought I Heard about all of Oliver's adventures but no These were new,it's great how you illustrated it with the pictures and voice, cheers for this ,I've literally fell over with laughter, might be the vodka I'm having while watching these, surprised it's only got two comments, more will be coming in,just wait,I've only just found these, write onto part three.
  • Did he ever talk about his house near Dorking being Haunted? I think it was said to be!👍💯👍💯👍🤔👍✌️
