Like it or hate him he literally advocated for Stephen A & Shannon even when networks said no. Dude is a pioneer of sports media and an ally no matter how many people say he isnt. They dont know the history. Salute to skip

SAS talks like he’s giving a eulogy at a funeral lol
  • Getting rid of Skip but keeping Keyshawn Johnson makes me think the executives at FS1 are playing 1 big joke on the public

I had a co-worker whom I worked with for 3 years. We worked incredibly well and became close friends, but in our last 4 months, we had a major falling out, and it became hard for us to be around each other. I got frustrated and left the company to start a new career, and it saved me financially and personally. I'm coming up on my year anniversary of quitting and found out she got fired 2 months back for something out of her hands. People and old co-workers kept asking me if I felt joy or happy she got fired and I told them "No, she was a great employee but putting my feelings aside she didn't deserved to be let go and I'm sad because I know how much that job meant to her." I reached out the next day. She thought I was going to gloat. I told her how I felt, and now we are back to being friends again. It's a complex emotion, but don't take pride in someone else's downfall or failure. It doesn't do anything. I could never express how complicated that feeling was, and SAS did it perfectly.

It's no ratings "game"... Undisputed went straight down the toilet immediately after Shannon left

He’s right. Skip is 73 years old. It’s been a helluva a career.

“They’ve had some ratings problems, but I’m not gonna get into that” Looks into the camera 😐
  • Idc what anybody says, Skip Bayless was a pioneer of sports debate television and took on the villain role that made it interesting, whether you agreed or disagreed with his takes. He deserves a lot of credit. 💯

speak brother speak, never kick a man when he's down. I applaud you, infact, it's refreshing.
  • Imagine seeing Stephen A, Shannon Sharpe, and Skip Bayless all on First Take
  • Back in the day, I used to look forward to Skip and Stephen A. debate on Monday mornings after an NFL weekend. Many times I would analyze after the shows, was it Skip or Stephen A. I was more drawn to watching the show. And I would always have the same outcome, it was that incredible chemistry they had together!
  • @Abe90335
I remember the energy and chemistry Skip and Stephen A had together, to me that has failed to be duplicated, idc what anyone says.
