0:00 - 0:14 : 2018
↳ my first year consisted of various highschool projects. i didnt know a single thing about animation or the program i was using lol

0:14 - 0:42 : 2019
↳ more school stuff. i was introduced to rigging animation (cutout animation) wasn't too fond of that, but i did learn more about the 12 principles of animation! trust the process O_O

0:42 - 1:03 : 2020
↳ the pandemic hit during my second year in the highschool animation program i was in. but it actually helped me focus more on what i was studying.
0:53 started doing more dynamic action and even created my first ever 3-minute short film called 'insomnia'. my work efficiency was SO BAD. but i finished it nevertheless LOL

1:03 - 1:33 : 2021
↳ got used to working online during the pandemic and was part of two group projects under the mentorship of Nickelodeon mentors.
1:03 the first one being 'Grim Companion', a story about a lonely grim reaper who meets his new best friend. (   • Grim Companion  )
↳ did more personal projects with my ocs (rope lady and princess agatha). in my 3rd year in animation, i was part of another Nickelodeon project where i developed a series concept with my co-showrunner, Kimberly Chau (@kim_chowchow). 1:31 i made the walk cycles of the main 5 characters!

1:33 - 2:13 : 2022
↳ created 'sucker' for fun and it went viral! basically the start of my journey here on youtube. things snowballed from there and i started to enjoy animating my OCs more. this was also the year i met @GoodKidband and started working with them! during the tail-end of the year, i met so many cool people through the animation program who i call my good friends today.

2:13 - 3:00 : 2023
↳ my favourite year ever. i found my style and stuck to it!! i did more work with @GoodKidband and created videos for their songs.
2:22 'Mimi's Delivery Service' is the first ever official music video i've ever animated by myself. i'm so incredibly proud of it ;-; (   • Mimi's Delivery Service (Animated Mus...  .
2:31 also was part of a group animated project where my animation friends and i created a tribute to our animation teacher, Mr. Leduc! (   • Talk Too Much (Group Animated Project)  ) this was my last year in the animation program that i called my home for 5 years. it was time to say goodbye :'(
↳ this year i've been trying new stuff out and really pushing myself to go beyond my limits. i'm so happy and honoured to create content that people enjoy!

thanks for watching!!

Your animations went from basic pencil drawings to full-on anime production. That's incredible for just 5 years
  • @Batersky
That sudden pandemic progress was INSANE
  • 2020 was really when your animation started to improve, and rapidly! Its amazing how much you can do in just 5 years

  • @lamergamer8211
We need more of the ghost dog and grim reaper. They are literally my favorite little guys
  • Your art style has come a long way but what's so amazing is even in your early work how well you understood principles of animation and the vital aspects of things like expression, using the environment, etc. You've had a strong grasp on cinematic angles even back in the first reel you showed us! Despite always having a knack for storytelling and a general talent for animation, your growth is also apparent as you've honed your skills. It's truly admirable and inspirational to see how hard you've worked to foster your innate talents into a sharpened skillset. Thanks for sharing with us!

The jump from 2019 and 2020 shows huge growth; kinda like when you unlock a tactic to a game.
  • the sudden pandemic progress was amazing but the way i gasped after seeing the 2022 animation and I went "OMGHSJSJSKSJXAAAA IT'S YOUUUUUUUU-" , it's really amazing. you've come a long way man :’>
  • It's so satisfying to see the uptick in quality over time! Especially around when the pandemic hit. You're an inspiration to your fellow animation students
  • @dinoboi963
Huge difference! I really appreciate how the animation has become so much more substantial. The smoothness of your animations in 2023 is remarkable. I absolutely love them; they frequently show up on my For You Page, and I never miss watching them.

I’m so amazed she’s able to animate so well, she’s like a Netflix animator or something. You could s it really picks up during 2020, too, this is pure talent and skill. Well done :)
  • Even bro’s 2018 animation are better then whatever I can conjure up in a week of work 😂😂😂
  • @lordfost64
I regret my past and wished that I stop worry about what people think of me in school; even then having more confidents. I realized that the past no longer exists and what matters is to move on. This video is a reminder to me that no artist is simply perfect at the begin, it is a learning curve. I love your animation and character designs ❤🙏
  • @Syxz_Shanks
I love how your animations just keep getting better and better in every year, with you learning to learn where to put the highlights, shadows and of course, the background looks more better
  • @f.earless.
Oooh my god, you’re the creator of the ponytail girl! I’ve seen this animation for years here and there (like 9gag) and I actually recognized some of your latest work :) Absolutely amazing work and your progress is just inspiring :)
