Hey, everyone, welcome to Episode 6 of my Indigo Disk LP! It's time for the rematch against Lacey, but this time as a member of the BB League's Elite Four! So, I've got Episodes 7 and 8 recorded, but there were a few issues with the recording software (especially with 8), and I've already hard-saved after recording those, so I have to make those work with the footage I have. That being said, it might be a couple days before I actually get those up (and also because Christmas is a thing, haha). Hope everyone's having a good weekend! Also, DRINK WATER

Good luck on Drayton in the next one. Not kidding, his idea for a trial is actually really clever, but quite painstaking for some.

QOTD: My favorite Pokémon is Raichu, which received a major Shiny color redesign with its Alolan Form. You didn't get to see it, but Lacey's Primarina has Liquid Voice and is holding a Throat Spray.

Regarding the QOTD: Trivia about my favorite Pokemon, eh? Well, how about an entire dex entry! "This Pokemon is extremely loyal to any trainer it considers to be worthy. It is said that this Pokémon developed its precognitive powers to protect its trainer from harm." Have fun guessing my favorite!

Qotv: one of my personal favorites has traits that reflect adapting to its natural habitat, from taking cover in sandstorms, to converting sunlight to energy while still needing to be cautious about the harm too much exposure can cause, and being able to take full advantage of whatever water it can get. Have fun all!

Indigo Disk Episode 6 Comments: - Venusaur may be taller than Vileplume, but that doesn't mean its petals are larger. Vileplume's always looked the widest and thickest to me. - You know, I said in a previous comment that Lacey should be voiced by Cherami Leigh because she voiced the student council president in Persona 5, but it just occurred to me that she also voiced a pink-haired girl in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, so it would be even more of a perfect fit. - It's so cute that they thought to put the blueberry sweets on Lacey's Alcremie, since this is Blueberry Academy. - Here's a dangerous drinking game: Take a shot every time Lacey says the word "cute." Your prize will be a no-expenses paid trip to the hospital. - The way Drayton describes how Lacey trains her Pokemon reminds me of this outtakes clip of Amelia Tyler from when she was recording her lines as the Narrator in Baldur's Gate 3. She says in this baby talk voice "Aren't you a big, scary player character! What level are you now? Is it 2? Ahh, you are so scary! You are so scary!" - Hey, don't be ashamed of that boy band joke. NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys were both featured on the soundtrack to Pokemon: The First Movie, after all. - Wow, mind control seems to be the theme in gaming this year, huh? We got Resident Evil 4 Remake with the Plagas parasite, Baldur's Gate 3 with the mind flayer tadpoles, and now you can take over the minds and bodies of your own Pokemon. What next? - QOTD: Let's see... Something about Raichu would be way too obvious coming from me, so how about this? This Pokemon's final evolved form is the same height as the real historical person from whom it draws inspiration.

Time to get back to Cookie Run Characters as Pokemon Trainers If Centipede Cookie is a Pokemon Trainer, she might have Salazzle, Cofagrigus, Slither Wing, and Gigantamax Centiskorch If Leek Cookie is a Pokemon Trainer, he might have Sirfetch'd, Hisuian Decidueye, Lurantis, and Kartana If Mala Sauce Cookie is a Pokemon Trainer, she might have Perrserker, Tinkaton, Magmortar, and Gouging Flame If Rose Cookie is a Pokemon Trainer, not only she has another Lurantis. But Roserade, Baile Style Oricorio, and Red Flower Florges

For a piece of trivia regarding my favorite Pokémon, how about this: While it’s commonly believed to be based on a siren, it actually has more in common with selkies, Celtic mythological creatures that can shapeshift between human and seal forms. I think it’s pretty obvious which one I’m talking about. Also for the episode itself, why does almost everyone I see not immediately go for Venonat’s eyes? Do they not remember Tracey’s during the Crystal Onix episode?

I like Lacey she’s really nice and loves Fairy-type Pokémon.🎀
