After more than 2 decades following your career ,and another 10 years absorbing everything in your art lessons, the amount of value I received is incalculable. Starting my own indie art house and following my dreams has been a blessing I could not have imagined when buying your first workshop. I still regularly reference your workshops to new team members, or random people that ask me questions to get them up to speed. I think for the weeks you don't have a regular video to share, that having a preview montage of your box sets would excite and be beneficial to artist who have not seen or yet to purchase your gumroad content. Thank you Trent, for all you do. - Billy B.

I am honestly happy with everything you upload. Looking forward to seeing the devlogs! :_happy:

I love the twilight game videos which is like a sneak peak of what goes into developing a game and I wanted to note that in my opinion, most unique thing about your channel is that you talk about the game dev industry and what happens there, what is expected of artist from real world perspective and not just selling the dream...etc. also the unlicensed therapist videos lol.
  • @llareia
I mostly come here for the motivational speeches! Solo indie dev is really, really lonely most of the time so sometimes just hearing a friendly voice telling me not to give up is really helpful. (Bonus points if there's a chill beat in the background.)

I've commented before. I'm an indie novelist. I like the cool art, but I mostly come here to hear and get realigned with the pep talks, work ethic talks, real talk about what it means to be a working artist. You could call it the spiritual aspects of what you're doing here. :] I like that. It's why I'm here. I dig the positive work hard vibes. Thanks for doing that. It's a big deal.

I’ve been watching you for years. I’ve purchased your comics. You e taught me so much. I love your art, your style, and the way you do these videos as well. I’m very much looking forward to the release of your game. I’m hyped for you sir. Keep going.
  • I really like and appreciate the “amateur psychology” videos. Like “When everything you’re making brakes”. They really helped me a lot.

I am old (67) and started to really learn to draw about 3 years ago for a hobby going into retirement. I took Trent's Easy Art lessons and learned a lot of the basics. I highly recommend them, his easy going style and depth of knowledge will give a good art foundation

Tutorials are always nice but I personally find your rants and storytimes to be a unique goldmine
  • @RyanBylPaints
Would love videos on: Your planning and workflow. Tools and tricks you use in photoshop the most. Tools and techniques for creating fast and a lot. Tools and techniques for creating slow and detailed. Your favorite secrets, tools, techniques. What you should be doing when trying to get your foot in the door. Thank you Trent!
  • @Porlzilla
I've been loving watching the portraits come to life and the fireside with Trent chats you've been posting lately. It feels like a mate has popped round and just drops some conversational knowledge on me while I watch some artwork being created. Dev logs, more portraits, random insights into the art and concept art world. Whatever you want to drop on us is fine with me.
  • Hey trent! I‘d appreciate more videos in which you explain how you use light and shadow on your paintings. I know you already talked about that in your workshops, but i‘d enjoy to see you explain your thinking process with even more examples.
  • @subterranean327
I like the draw and talk videos you've been doing for the past few years.
  • I would love to hear more about the challenges you face during the development of your indie game and how you managed to solve those. That seems extremely valuable to me, as I just finished my video game studies and started my own company on serious games. I love your videos and they are always so helpful and you are the reason I am trying out this career path. Thank you so much!
  • @tomhaswell6283
YES, getting deeper into your gamedev would be super interesting!
  • I took a break from the clips and recently saw this one, and I'll rewatch a lot of them. Good luck with the game.
  • @Blue_319
You've been a beacon for me as an artist for at least 15 years now. You've inspired me to keep going and believing in myself, I also got some of your content to the extend I could afford. Thank you so much for your time and for being an overall awesome dude. You are a permanent landmark in my influence map. ❤
  • Always great to see another video from you! I definitely like the casual art and chat style. I bought your hearthstone card tutorial and brush pack. I haven’t quite had the energy to tackle and understand the tutorial, I have found the brushes to be incredibly helpful in my artwork! Also I Can’t wait to see the game when it comes out!
  • @Zinlor
The game is looking absolutely sick Trent. Honestly I don't have much I am looking forward to in games at the moment. Other than indie games. I grew up on story driven RPGs and such and those these days are few and far between. Having a classic style metroidvania to look forward to, by and artist I enjoy, is pretty killer. Not been watching as much as I had been sadly. Though your videos have helped me tremendously and I've been putting more time into projects, Using a good bit of your wisdom and knowledge I've found in some of your videos. Seeing how you developed your game would be great content for sure! Mostly interested in your process and thoughts on story telling and world building in this game specifically.
  • @storymaxart
For me the most helpful things I've heard from you (and keep coming back for) it the practical approach. To think what you draw, for who do you draw, how much time you want it to take. And second - the game! So, if you keep that then I'm all in
