In this video I deal with a rat infestation in my chicken coop. I tried just about everything from fancy traps, contraptions, baits, poisons, only to come out empty handed. In the end the best solution is a combination of a couple of things. First, keeping the coop clean and organized by doing scheduled cleaning on a regular basis. Second, do what ever is necessary to keep the predators from coming into the coop. Place wire mesh two feet around the perimeter inside and outside of the coop. Third, using natural oils and herbs that annoy the rodents and other predators to help keep them away. Thanks for the visit, I hope this video was helpful.
