  • They asked "Do you need a Wheelchair?" What the heck is wrong with people
  • i love the interpreters voice,i love how she adds character to what the deaf people are saying
  • "Can deaf people have sex?" Like... why would they not be able to?
  • My instructor once said, she and her brother went to get on a plane and when the staff found out they were Deaf, the brought them a info packet in braille.
  • when that girl said they yell behind her back to see if she's really deaf, it broke my heart :'(
  • Most annoying question: “Can you hear?”
  • @seth4224
Staff: hey, excuse me? Me: ? Staff: you’re not allowed to have headphones here :) Me: headphones...? Staff: yeah, that thing in your ear. You have to take it off. Me: it’s my hearing aid....
  • the blond 20 yr old is really really pretty, made me think of chloe grace moretz when the translator said she's a college student, i thought she looks like a sorority girl haha
  • I honestly think that being able to communicate with sign language is a gift
  • "do you need a wheelchair?" Bro it's like asking a blind person if they need hearing aid
  • “hate when people ask me if I wish I could hear” Interviewer *proceeds to ask question” 👁👄👁
  • I don’t know what I find so satisfying about sign language
  • "you hear the same thing over and over and over again." Me: [visible confusion]
  • Nobody: Not even the dumbest person on earth: Person talking to a deaf person with no broken legs: Do YoU nEEd a WHeeLChaIr??
  • I’m completely deaf in my right ear, and I swear the first thing 60% of people do when I tell them is go next to me and yell in my deaf ear. Then they’re like: Did you hear that? And I’m like: yeah. Them: so you’re not really deaf? Me: I heard you with my other ear. You did yell so I’m pretty sure everyone in the vicinity heard. A lot of people don’t understand why i have to sit on the left side of them so I can hear. The other 40% are chill and don’t mock me for asking them to repeat themselves. I was born that way and grew up thinking that was how everyone was, I’ve had teachers berate me for “not paying attention” because I couldn’t hear them
  • How can you be a mother if you cant hear your baby cry? THAT one pisses me off the most. Well gee, I keep my eye on my child and when asleep at night. Hand in crib to feel movements. Questioning my ability to be a mom when I'm deaf is so insulting so degrading on so many levels. All the other questions on here dont care about. The one about how can you be a mom? Pisses me off. Well blind people do it. People in wheel chairs do it. Why not deaf? My 4 year old knows I'm deaf he knew it by 2. He runs smack into me or touches me to grab my attention he doesnt yell. (I have 10 percent hearing so I can hear very loud noises)
  • "when people ask me if I wish I could hear, is just awful" "Soo... do you wish you could hear?"
  • @ttuesday1
I was going to leave a comment about how nice it is that the video has subtitles so deaf people (like me) can understand what they’re “saying”, but then I realized that they’re using sign language and that I don’t need subtitles to understand them 😅
  • A silent voice anyone? Sign language is on my list to learn for sure...
