WKX is such a versatile man. He can cook, repair old paintings, perform acupuncture, judge people based on their bones, and most importantly, flirt with style using ancient poems and look like a scholar or gentleman. I can’t help but conclude that Ghost Valley provided him pretty good education! 😂😂😂

I really like how Yi Bai YI bickers and curses and Wen Ke Xing whenever they are together, but will NOT allow others to slander Wen's name!!.... Its like how siblings argue with each other but get upset when other people disses their brother.

They look like parent sleeping on the same bed and their child sleeps beside. What a cozy family scene!

To make this episode a lot more precious, let me just remind everyone that Chengling was really asleep in the whole duration of that scene. How freaking cute!

Chengling is one of those people with the "I was told not to mention it so imma mention it" mentality Lmao.

Wen Kexing may have come from a poor family, had a rough childhood, and suffered a lot of pain in his life, but at the end of the day, he still managed to bag himself a royal husband. That's a legendary move.

Incredible acting by Zhang Zhe Han in the bedroom when he recalled his past to Wen Kexing. It's a very emotionally drained scene but ZZH controlled his emotions well. Not exaggerated yet enough to make the audience cry.
One of my favourite scenes in the drama.

How to comfort your beloved after he poured out his deepest wound to you, but you're not ready to share with him your own baggage:
1. Use your Qi while playing the flute to help him sleep soundly through the night (ZZS woke up later than usual and wondered what helped him sleep so well)
2. Fix the painting of great emotional significance to him
3. Clean up the whole villas to make it feels like home to him again
Yes, WKX might not be ready to admit that he is ZZS's Junior because he is still dealing with his own trauma, but he does everything else in his ability to ensure ZZS's wellbeing.
