  • People said the Bucs were nuts for paying Baker 30 mil a year. Looks like the deal of the century now.
  • Just pay him now because if you wait, its only going to get worse. The cowboys haven't figured that out yet lol
  • @ChosenPlaysYT
The tough part is they’re gonna pay him so much that they can’t build a team. They’ll be playoff caliber but won’t win a Super Bowl. Same thing I said back when they paid Rodgers a ton. They never won another championship.
  • Agree on a base number before the season. Add incentives for making the playoffs, winning the North, making/winning the NFCCG and making/winning the SB. Easy.
  • @penguinwarcry
Brady laid out how to win Superbowls in the modern pay style. Only one QB has listened and he has 3 rings because of it. Stop paying every QB like they've won anything when they haven't.
  • Here’s the deal. If I’m Jordan Love, I absolutely balled out for the better half of a year and destroyed one of the best defenses in the playoffs. It’s not my fault you drafted me and made me sit three years. He looks elite. He showed that on the field. A 5 year $55 million/year deal for Trevor Lawrence…who would you rather have? Can argue it either way but it appears the ceiling is higher for Love. So you have to pay him.

Longer they wait, more he’ll cost. The absolute worst case scenario is they don’t get a deal done and Love wins the bet on himself. Would cost 10 more million annually compared to if they “overpay” now.

People forget Gutey told Love go out and prove yourself last year during the 2nd half of season. No one realizes that, so what we saw in 2nd half was him playing to prove himself.

You all gotta remember, they stuck that offense together with 2 2nd year WR's and Jones with 2 of those 3 hurt half the year, and the rest of the skill guys were all rookies. It took the offense, and J. Love half a year to figure out he didn't need a true #1 WR. With a much improved defense, hopefully, i dont see this team not going to the NFCCG at a minimum. With that said its the teams that are the deepest that make it to the SB every year. I like lombos take do a yearly increase dependent on performance incentives, and hopefully, Love's agent and the Packers can do a 5-6 year deal that works for both sides.
  • If we pay him big bucks he better not play like Daniel jones.
  • @Chuggs1798
aaron jones in the 2nd half of last year is not talked about nearly as much as we should
  • Step 1: play minimal College games, creat highlight reel to get to Combine/NFL draft Step 2: win starting role Step 3: no matter how you perform you are guaranteed a massive contract. This is the current NFL
  • LaFleur schemes everyone open. Love is a good qb but I don’t know how you look at the tape and say that Love made the play when the wr has 5 yards of separation
  • Giving a guy who played well only half the year 45+ million is absolutely insane
  • @Hja200
Reed is a superstar in the making mark my worlds
  • Only half a year of decent football there's no way Love should be getting the biggest contract 💀. I could argue 25-30 million a year with 10 million in incentives seems like a win on both sides. Id do 4 years on it.... Geno Smith has a very similar contract and its a win win for both. Geno makes 100 million over 4 years and the Seahawks get a very team friendly QB who is at least a above average QB with the ability to play at a elite level
  • Yeah I need more then 8 games to give out a max deal that would be unwise to do
  • Green Bay is a smart organization. Even though he has leverage, they will be able to accurately evaluate him and avoid overpaying. I say this as a Bears fan.
  • Pay him now, cause the price is onky going up regardless of how he performs. If its not us, someone will. Hell, he could be the highest paid today, and by the end of the year he drops down to 5th highest. Just gotta pull the trigger now.
