Hope you’re having a good Monday... WiFi was a bit of a struggle in terms of uploading this yesterday, thanks to being constantly on the move for my birthday weekend - flight to Vienna, deluxe sleeper train to Rome and flying back via Munich (and yes, there will be some videos...). Enjoy! And let me know what you think of Malindo!
  • I flew with Malindo Air in 2014 from KUL to Langkawi, then Penang, then back to KUL. The 3 flights in economy all included a TV, usb, bottle of water and a snack. The total cost of all 3 flights combined were £40. Amazing value, great service, and for someone like me who is 1.96m/6ft5, the legroom was ok for 3x1hr flights. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AIRLINE

really attractive airport..so nice to see an airport reflect the unique character of its region...note to others give this concept a try...
  • @charissaclare
I love how in Asian countries ground staff always wave as you leave . Here in UK use get a finger up 🤣

So nobody is going to mention: "On your left side please" Points to HER left side Paul Walks to his right side

Nice vid! I’m loving all the new airlines that are being showcased on your channel
  • @jvohanian
Another great video. I've watched some of the older non-narrated ones, which are also very nice, but am SO glad you started narrating them! It makes a huge difference! Great work and thanks again!

A properly surprising report, lovely airport, lovely lounge and man that food has made me hungry!

Thank you for this one. Whenever I'm feeling stressed out, and that's almost ALL the time, I tune into your channel and instantly feel soothed. Obviously the travel presented is interesting, but your presentation and narration is great. I noticed in your videos of a couple of years ago you didn't narrate nearly as much. So I'm glad you're doing it now. You provide instant relaxation and I appreciate that. Thanks again.
  • Nice to see this report Paul, i fly with Malindo few times every year to Indonesia and Thailand and recently flew business class to Bali from KL. Service is always good and it's a great value for money. You can get cheap promo business tickets.

Great review as always Paul! It's always fascinating to see how different airports and airlines are outside of Europe! Bali Airport looks so beautiful (and also a happy belated birthday to you! I'm very looking forward to the Nightjet review in the future :D)
  • @nakiinami
Great report on Malindo Air! One of my favourite airlines imo. They are a very excellent airline and I would love to fly with them again some day
  • @TimothySong
I flew in Malindo's business class a few years ago too. I got an amenities kit with slippers, toothbrush etc on that flight though from KUL-TPE. The table clothes are branded Batik Air because Malindo tried to rebrand themselves as Batik Air a few years ago, but they stopped that after only a few months. So for all intents and purposes, Batik Air and Malindo are one and the same!
  • @DarrenBates
What an excellent video. Love all these new airlines being showcased and seeing how they do it in other parts of the world. We really are living in the golden age of low cost aviation and this channel shows it all.
  • @marygreene5411
Great trip report Paul. You liked Bali. The airport looked unique. Happy birthday.
  • @Bak807
Great trip report! I love the fact your are showing us a bunch of different airlines!
  • @umm_rm
Fab video, that shot of the staff on the apron under the wing shade was so cute lol
