  • he died peacefully in his sleep. if you're gonna go, there's no better way (imo). RIP dr M.

The good doctor could have died of anything. He wasn’t looking well after his house burned down in California. RIP great doctor 🙏❤️🙏this generous doctor won’t be forgotten in my opinion😊🌹😊
  • My dad died in his sleep at the exact same age and he was a big meat eater his whole life. Sometimes people just die. It can be hard to accept that we don’t have control.

When you have a stroke at age 18 (Dr. McDougall) and live 59 more years, that's good.
  • @chazlon5061
He had a stroke aged 18 and lived 60 more years exceeding his life expectancy
  • Dr. McDougall won't be forgotten. He has followers who have their own channels with big followings. He saved so many lives, those families won't forget him. He said he was the luckiest doctor in the world because his patients got better. RIP Dr. McDougall.
  • McDougal was legit. Living to 77 was pretty miraculous really considering he had a massive stroke aged 18. This guy transformed the health of countless people.
  • My take on all this grasping for longevity....it's not about your number of years but the quality of those years and the health of those years. Eat whatever diet helps or reverses or puts into remission any health issues you have and what makes you feel your best. It ain't one size fits all but what size fits you
  • John had a stroke at 18 years old and the fact that he lived to be 77 is a testimony to the dedication of his lifestyle and way of eating. I beg to differ, I believe he will long be remembered and people will continue to follow his diet!

Excellent video !!! Thank you for not slamming Dr mcdougall . He was a good man went through a lot with his house burning in CA.. Let’s wait and see how long and how well the carnivore folks live.
  • He lived a long life, considering all the health issues he had when he was young.
  • I thought Dr. Baker was very respectful in his comments about Dr. McDougall. Also, he has never claimed carnivores will live to 100. He simply promotes the fact that meat is a very nutrient dense food in the most absorbable form. He frankly admits that the long term consequences of a meat based diet are unknown. He makes a lot of sense to me.

Whatever happened to the simple, well balanced diet of yesteryear? A 3 - 4 oz serving of protein, a starch such as potatoes/sweet potatoes/rice etc., 1 or 2 servings of vegetables and a small desert? And then take a walk after dinner around the block in your neighborhood. I guess the normal well balanced diet doesn’t sell ad space, but then I was brought up in the 1950’s before everything everywhere was hyped to make money. Love my life now, but I miss the simpler era. It was so easy to just live then.

Quality of life is way more important than living long

Life’s mystery…grandfather smoked an drank, passed at 99…
  • @bellasee1
My grandma lived to be 100. She ate healthy, ate meat, organs and such. Slept well nightly. No smoking ,drank port. Spoke her mind! Had her mental health! Lived alone! No senior citizen, home.

He did not promote the " Vegan Diet" , he promoted a starch based diet and he was a very good doctor , my only issue was he was pro covid vaccine , He was in bad health after a fall a few years ago where he broke several bones; he also lost everything in the fires in California and had moved to Hawaii . He was very frail the last few times I saw him on Your tube but his mind was still sharp. I am sad for his family because people will attack his lives work now, he has helped so many people in his life .

What faith? I got my BP from 140/90 to 105/70 in 18 months and off pills on WFPB diet. And that after 10 years on Paleo low carb diet.
