Ranking EVERY Overwatch 2 Hero By How Fun they Are

This is my list ranking every hero in overwatch based off how fun they are off my first impressions. (PS my numbers were a little off in the recording but they’re right on screen)

Crazy that removing 1 tank slot changes literally every character drastically

Orisa went from being my least favorite hero to like top 5. Her spear is just so sick and I don’t have to worry about barrier management anymore.

Reinhardt at 29 is insane, I find him one of the most fun to play, especially when the whole team is all together and you get like 4 people with earthshatter. And how fun it is to pin people with the charge

seeing lucio at 5 puts a smile on my face. Hes such a fun support!

I love how symettra gets so much value by holding 1 button and doom cant even scratch someone when dumbing all 3 abilities into them.

Given that there's only one tank, I think at least at the beginning we'll be in a Reinhardt meta. He has the most usable shield in the game now and it's easy for randoms to understand what to do. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

Man I love brigette, I think the most fun way to play her is a hybrid tank, pushing up to the front of your team with the tank and healing them when they're low.

Long-time Mercy main, always found her fun before, but since she got the Guardian Angel buff, she went from A to S tier.

mei would've been so perfect on tank as they wanted the tanks to have the cc abilities.

Hanzo is really fun to play, mastering the projectile is incredibly difficult and rewarding. Hitting those hipfire crits feels so good

As a Zen main from the beginning of when I started playing he got so much more fun to play once his kick was added. It gave him atleast a bit of survivability

To compensate removing the freeze effect, Mei’s primary fire now does tonnes of damage. It absolutely melts other squishies. She’s kinda bad against tanks now so if that’s how you were playing her then yeah she wouldn’t be very fun. I think her kit now works pretty well at separating people from their team and then dominating them with her primary fire and high dps hp. It's especially good against Genji since he can't even deflect it. She's not a great pick on more open maps but she's still one of the most fun heroes imo.

I think ow2 brig is actually much more fun because the shield bash encourages you to be more aggressive and pursue kills rather than defensive like in ow1

i wonder where Junker Queen would fit on this list. for me personally, shes insanely fun. has her issues, but damn it feels good just throwing that knife, pulling a squishy towards you, just to finish them with the axe or a quick "melee shotty blast combo". rushing in with your team using her buff ability to cause some chaos, even if ya die quick. (only started playing a couple weeks ago so)

Mei no longer freezes, but the damage of her left clic is much higher than before, so you can rely on that for squishies

Roadhog already had a passive that reduced ult charge gained from damaging him actually

Summary: the more the character moves, the more fun it is

As someone who loves movement in fps games, I leaned towards tracer. I find playing her a lot of fun. She has one of the lowest health stat-lines in the game, but it does not feel like it. Her rewind and her charges allow for great movement to health spots. She is super hard to hit and when you flank a team there is not much that they can do to defend if you have a good tracer player. I think #2 is a great spot. She may not be the best character in the game, but she is definitely one of the most fun to play!
