  • I love how the prosecutor led the mother on and his closing sentence "You taught your son well". Brilliant.
  • really brave of these detectives to arrest the penguin so quickly and not wait for batman to bring him in instead.
  • This is really ironic considering that the actor who's playing him is actually gay but the mother seems so disgusted seeing that he committed these crimes this whole episode is just ironic
  • No "assault on a police officer" charges for the mother throwing the lamp?
  • That lineup wouldn't be hard to get thrown out on account of the head wound, I think. It's easily visible and makes him stand out in the bunch. Could be argued as prejudicial.
  • I loved that he pissed Cutter off so much that he decided to make the deal from 20 to 25 😂😂
  • @pcwkid76
He was later found to be in possession of several unlicensed umbrellas. Wah wah wah.
  • It's funny that the mother considers herself a good role model for her son, even though she literally attacked a detective 💀💀
  • It's hard to watch this show sometimes when you practice law. For instance him being charged on that lineup alone is unrealistic and would never be admissible. There's not only a fresh head wound separating him from the rest of the lineup but it's a high profile case and he was filmed being taken from his home so his image wouldve been everywhere before the ID was made. Still love the suspense and the plot twists. One of my favorite shows of all time.
  • Cheyenne Jackson as Hades from the Descendants franchise and Robin Lord Taylor as the Penguin in Gotham are both In this scene!
  • @dfmrcv862
Did that mom unironically try to hit police detectives with the "he didn du nuthin" line? Also did that dude try to jump out of the second floor window????
  • People like the mother are the worst kind of people. At least be upfront about your hatred and prejudice instead of hiding behind a facade of politeness and "tolerance".
  • I love Cedric’s face after his mom just revealed she was the one who influenced him to be homophobic. He’s like “you just screwed me over”.
  • This episode just shows that they should do a whole lot more investigation before they arrest and try someone. It seems too easy to get someone convicted on circumstantial evidence.
  • Poor Mom... she walked right into that one. "Hi there! Can you stand on that bullseye over there, under that suspended safe?"
  • I love it when they stumble into the teams trap to get them to confess
  • @ellyh2247
The mom: saying she didn’t raise a son to be homophobic Also the mom: ‘he’s not a sissy’
  • Love this episode. Amy Madigan was incredible, this was probably Linus Roache's finest hour on the show and the twist in the episode was unexpected and awesome
  • @Suthek
Ooh, I didn't know he paid rent and bought groceries. Not guilty then!
  • That ending scene between Michael Cutter and the defendant gave me chills, easily one of the best episode in season 20
