NBA Records That WON'T EVER be Broken..

British Billionaire Richard Brandson was once quoted saying “Records are made to be broken. It is in man’s nature to continue to strive to do just that.” Brandson is mostly known for his business ventures linked to his Virgin brand. Richard has set seven world records according to the Guinness Book of World Records and is always striving for more. SOOOO I think he knows a thing or two about setting and breaking impossible records. Impressive Rebound records and Rebound games. The NBA throughout its history is full of insane records constantly changing hands. Records that many thought were impossible to break. BUT…. what about those records that just seem to have been locked in a vault and the commissioner threw away the key. The records that are bulletproof due to the evolving nature of basketball, including the significant rule changes and focuses on player health and load management. We are talking about the NBA Records that WON’T EVER be Broken..

In today's video we look at NBA Records That WON'T EVER be Broken..

What's a record I missed that you consider unbreakable?

Is there a player or topic you would like to see a Thunder Slams video on?

John Stockton is the first player that comes to mind when I think of unbreakable records. There are only two other players that have had a thousand assists in a season (Magic Johnson was not one of them). So not only is John Stockton the only player to have consecutive seasons with over 1,000 assists... he did it five seasons in a row... in what could have been a 6th season in a row he was only 13 assists short. Then he had over a thousand assists in the following two seasons. So he was very close to 8 seasons in a row. He has a number of records that are safe. A lot of Wilt's records are safe too I would think, but put him in a different era and those records would be a bit lower I think.
